Pratima freezes, realising the gravity of the situation. Just then, Kapil walks in and notices Pratima with his phone, making her nervous.
Elsewhere, Ishana arrives at Kapil’s office to see if her plan has worked. She imagines Kapil confronting Mangal in anger, accusing her of betraying his love. In her imagination, he breaks off the engagement, telling Mangal that she has fallen in his eyes and that he doesn’t want to marry someone forced into his life. Meanwhile, Kapil prints some documents for Ishana and offers her tea. While cleaning her sandal, Mangal’s phone rings. As she gets up hurriedly, she hits her head on the table corner. Kapil immediately rushes to help her, but she stops him, brushing off the pain. She congratulates him on his engagement with a forced smile. Kapil thanks her warmly and apologises for whatever happened the previous day. As she begins to leave, he stops her and says he wants to take her and Akshat out for dinner so he can get to know them better because Mangal’s happiness lies with them. Ishana stands by, silently fuming, realising Kapil hasn’t heard the voice message yet. Kapil requests her to bring Akshat along for dinner, trying to be inclusive and caring.

On her way out, she bumps into Pratima, and Mangal’s phone slips from her hand. Pratima looks at Ishana with sharp suspicion, finally connecting the dots. She realises Ishana is the one plotting to ruin Mangal and Kapil’s marriage. A mix of disappointment and anger fills her eyes, but she chooses to remain silent for the moment, thinking of her next step.
Later, Ishana meets Mangal and pretends to support her. She tells Mangal that Kapil isn’t a bad person, that he apologised to her, and maybe they can adjust with him.
