Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 9th July 2025 Written Update: Abhira-Myra’s Connect. YRKKH: 7 Moments Abhira Proved She Doesn’t Care About Armaan Anymore (Or Does She?)
Abhira is on her mission to pretend she is happily moving on. Today, she shows Armaan that she’s all fine and blooming around Anshuman. Poor Anshuman, clueless about the storm he’s walking into, thinks Abhira is finally getting comfortable with him. He even feels smug enough to ditch her mid-photoshoot to attend a call. That’s right. Mid-shoot. If this isn’t a red flag for Abhira’s new “happy chapter,” I don’t know what is.
While Anshuman is busy proving that calls are more important than fiancées, Armaan pops up, eager to talk to Abhira about the wedding functions. But Abhira, in full ice queen mode, ignores him. Unfortunately, her killer attitude stumbles, quite literally, as she loses balance and lands straight into Armaan’s arms. Ah, classic ITV – fall, catch, eyelock, cue tragic romantic bgm. Both stand there frozen, drowning in the bittersweet ocean of their past.
The photographer, meanwhile, is just doing his job, trying to get the best candids. He casually comments that Abhira and Armaan’s chemistry is fire. Abhira snaps at him like he committed a crime. She demands he delete those pictures immediately. The poor guy defends himself, saying he thought Armaan was just another guest. That triggers Abhira further as she retorts that Armaan is NOT her guest. Her voice probably echoed till the mandap. Armaan stands there, gobsmacked, possibly thinking, “Didi, decide kar lo.”
Trying to keep it professional (which is tough in this crazy family), Armaan asks her to check the wedding list. But Abhira is in no mood for mundane tasks. She lashes out, demanding to know what his problem is. Why is he hovering around her life? Why can’t he let her move on? Armaan, who looks ready to crawl under a rock, stays silent. Myra happens to overhear them and forms her own innocent assumptions, thinking they are old friends. If only she knew.
Later, chaos strikes as Geetanjali informs Armaan that Myra is missing. Armaan freaks out like a mother hen. Turns out, Myra is calmly hiding under a table, away from all the grown-up nonsense. Abhira finds her, sits with her, and shares sweets. Myra, with all her childlike purity, asks if Abhira will always feed her sweets. Abhira promises she will, her eyes softening for once. Armaan watches from afar, guilt stabbing his heart. He wants to tell Abhira the truth about Myra, but he swallows his words, choosing silence over chaos.
As the episode progresses, Abhira bumps into an inspector and enquires about her beloved Pookie. The inspector, with zero tact, suggests that Abhira should stop searching because Pookie might be dead. The nerve. Abhira roars back, scolding him for his insensitivity. Kaveri steps in, apologizing to the inspector, which only fuels Abhira’s rage further. Myra watches this emotional hurricane, concerned for Abhira. She tries to go after her, but Geetanjali drags her back, commanding her to leave Udaipur immediately. But Myra, tiny yet fierce, refuses to go.
Somewhere in this mess, Kaveri questions Armaan about working under Krish. Armaan fires back, asking why she cares so much. The sass levels are high in this house today.
Back to Abhira, her day gets worse as she injures her stomach. Myra finds her bleeding and worriedly tells her not to cry or give up hope. She tends to Abhira’s wound with trembling little hands, but Geetanjali storms in and snatches her away. Abhira, crumpled on the floor, mocks Armaan bitterly, telling him that he must be happy now – his dreams of a happy family are finally coming true. Inside, she breaks at the thought of Myra. Armaan stands there, a defeated man, unable to utter the truth she deserves to hear.
Geetanjali continues her relentless push for Myra to leave, but Myra refuses, her eyes blazing with determination. Later, Armaan visits her. Myra innocently asks if she can stay. Armaan, with a heavy heart, tells her to at least attend Abhira’s wedding before leaving. The man is stuck between protecting everyone and saving no one.
Krish pulls Armaan away to check the sangeet stage setup for Abhira and Anshuman’s ceremony. Tanya then chats with Abhira, asking her about her favorite food. Manisha jumps in, revealing Abhira’s love for noodles, but Abhira cuts her off, saying her taste has changed. Sure, Abhira. We all change tastes under emotional trauma. Myra interrupts their conversation, probably to lighten the mood or maybe to remind viewers that she exists.
The episode ends, leaving hearts heavy and minds racing with what’s next.

Today’s YRKKH episode delivered its trademark heartbreak with just the right pinch of sarcasm from Abhira. The best part was her savage roast to the photographer, followed closely by her heartbreak meltdown to Armaan. The worst part? Anshuman ditching his fiancée mid-photoshoot for a call. The man needs a lesson in basic decency before marriage.
Armaan continues to be the helpless Romeo, Abhira remains the wounded tigress, and Myra shines as the innocent little ray of hope holding this messy universe together. Geetanjali, as usual, is on her mission to ruin everyone’s peace, but what’s new there?
If the makers keep dragging Abhira-Armaan’s silence saga, viewers might just switch to watching cookery shorts for their daily dose of spice.
Precap Verdict
Myra, the unofficial family detective, learns about Abhira’s past – that her first husband was an absolute scum who abandoned her. She confronts Armaan, asking him to protect Abhira. Armaan, Abhira, and Kaveri stand there stunned, probably thinking, “Bhai, ye bacha itna sab kaise jaanti hai?”
