Bade Acche Lagte Hai 10th July 2025 Written Update: Bath-time Romance Gone Wrong

Bade Acche Lagte Hai 10th July 2025 Written Update: Bath-time Romance Gone Wrong. Today in Bade Acche Lagte Hai Written Update, Rishabh’s ‘Baby’ Calls, Wine Dates, and more.

The episode kicks off with Padma’s persistence to seal Bhagyashree’s fate. She insists Rishabh ties the thali (mangalsutra) around Bhagyashree’s neck with all three knots, ensuring the woman gets formally fake-married with at least traditional accuracy. Rishabh, treating the entire affair as a quick task on his to-do list, ties the first knot while acting like he’s reloading a printer cartridge, not tying a sacred symbol. Suddenly, his phone rings and the universe collapses because work calls, or rather, Nia calls.

Instead of finishing the knots, Rishabh passes the thali to Padma like passing a cricket bat for the next innings. Padma, ever the practical, ties the other two knots herself, announces it looks perfect, and struts away with the confidence of a wedding planner closing a deal.

Bhagyashree, holding her emotional tears like a dam, recalls how Rishabh once carried her lovingly, helped her dress up – basically, flashbacks of better days before his brain melted into “okay baby” phone calls. Rishabh finishes his call and she sternly tells him they need to leave.

They arrive at Shekhar and Meenakshi’s Mangalasnanam ceremony where Karuna compliments Bhagyashree’s thali look, though in her head Bhagyashree probably screamed, “Thanks, my fake husband couldn’t be bothered to tie it properly.” Padma explains Mangalasnanam and Haldi are the same, while Bhagyashree notices Rishabh’s phone vibrating like it’s on an earthquake mode.

Just as rituals are about to begin, Rishabh takes another call. Bhagyashree sarcastically asks him to finish his business empire calls before rituals. Meenakshi excuses his behaviour, blaming Delhi’s toxic work culture, when the reality is far simpler: Rishabh’s toxic girlfriend culture.

Padma gives both Bhagyashree and Rishabh gold chains to gift Shekhar. The drama thickens when Karuna realises the veshti (dhoti) is missing. Rishabh, desperate for an escape, volunteers to fetch it. While leaving, he coos “I’m coming baby,” on his phone, as Bhagyashree’s ears bleed from the sugar syrup dripping out of his voice. Curiosity (and worry) gets the better of her. She follows him and catches him red-handed, riding off with his girlfriend Nia, clinking wine glasses like villains celebrating their plan mid-heist.

She looks crushed, worrying about her father’s reaction if he knew his daughter’s groom was busy romancing another woman while rituals awaited. Padma and Vinay meanwhile panic over their missing other daughter, and Shreyas is asked to keep calling her like a useless family WhatsApp group admin.

At the swing ritual, Padma asks Bhagyashree to call Rishabh back even without the veshti, as the rituals are starting. Bhagyashree finds Rishabh and Nia returning in their car, enjoying their wine date like college kids bunking lectures. As he steps out, she warns him he’s drunk and could humiliate everyone. She calls Padma and diverts attention by mentioning Shraddha’s arrival.

Bhagyashree then drags drunken Rishabh into a room to clean up his act. She puts him under the shower to sober him up – not exactly a rom-com rain scene, more like a practical “please don’t ruin my life today” intervention. Rishabh, probably thinking he’s in a Yash Raj movie, pulls her under the water too and removes her spectacles for added dramatic romance. But the reality check comes knocking, literally. Bhagyashree quickly composes herself, puts her spectacles back on, and delivers an icy threat to behave in front of her family or she’ll cut his payment.

She walks out with boss-lady attitude and gets ready with Meenakshi’s help. Outside, Sowmya notices the chain that was gifted to Rishabh now around Shraddha’s neck. Bhagyashree swoops in with her PR skills, explaining she gave it to Shraddha since she was dressed too simply and requests Sowmya to avoid unnecessary drama. Sowmya leaves but the bitterness remains hanging in the air like unshed tears.

Then comes the mic-drop moment. Nia taunts Bhagyashree for hiring a husband just to keep her family’s façade intact, saying she and Rishabh are just using this to buy their flat and manage EMI payments. Bhagyashree stands silently, probably internally screaming into the void at how her life turned into this tragic circus.

Rishabh, now partly sober, apologises for arriving drunk. Nia throws shade at Sowmya, but Bhagyashree shuts her down swiftly, warning her not to speak ill of her bhabhi. She tells Rishabh that the chain was given by her parents, and it hurts them to see it around someone else’s neck. Rishabh obediently asks Nia to remove it and wears it himself, only to ask Bhagyashree moments later to give Nia some other jewellery because “baby’s neck is empty.” The audacity and shamelessness here deserve a national award.

The episode ends with Bhagyashree’s frustration reaching peak levels while Rishabh remains blissfully spineless.

Bade Acche Lagte Hai 10th July 2025 Written Update Review

Today’s episode was a cocktail of cringe and compelling drama. The plot gave major “Why are you like this?” vibes towards Rishabh who oscillated between romantic hero under the shower and pathetic cheater within minutes. Bhagyashree’s dignity amidst this circus remains the only saving grace. The show’s ability to create sympathy for her despite its slightly OTT writing proves why it still engages viewers.

Rating: 3.5/5

Compelling performances and realistic emotional reactions from Bhagyashree, but Rishabh’s behaviour drags down the dignity quotient. A decent watch if you want drama blended with frustration therapy.
