Jhanak 10th July 2025 Written Update: Jhanak’s Truth Closer To Exposure, Rishi’s Guilt, Aditi’s Suspicions, and Emotional Chaos
The episode opens with a deeply emotional moment. Jhanak sits silently, staring at Parashar’s photo published in the newspaper. Tears fill her eyes as memories flood back. Dadabhai notices her lost expression and senses something is wrong. Being the ever-alert observer, he immediately informs Tanushri and Indumati about it. Curious, Tanushri calls out to Jhanak, expecting her usual polite response, but Jhanak remains silent, trapped in her ocean of thoughts.
Dadabhai explains to Tanushri that the man in the newspaper, Parashar, is from Simulboni and was recently interviewed, suggesting that Jhanak must know him. Just then, Rishi enters the scene. Dadabhai asks Rishi whether he has seen Parashar’s interview in today’s newspaper. Rishi feels his stomach drop at the mention of Parashar. He tries to act indifferent, claiming he has no time for reading newspapers these days. But inside, panic begins to rise, knowing this name could uproot the secrets he has buried.
Indumati guesses that Parashar might be Jhanak’s relative, making Rishi sweat further. Meanwhile, Tanushri gets annoyed at Jhanak’s silence and forcibly makes her stand, demanding answers about what’s written in the newspaper that has left her so upset. Jhanak bursts into tears, unable to control her emotions. Indumati tries to calm the situation and asks her gently to speak, saying they won’t know anything unless Jhanak tells them.
Tanushri assumes Jhanak is simply missing her home. Jhanak, trying to hide her true pain, tells her she misses her mother. In reality, her mind is consumed by the memories of Parashar and her broken life. Rishi, unable to see her cry like this, intervenes and tells her to stop weeping. In a fit of guilt and frustration, he announces that he will take her back to her village and leave her there. Jhanak looks at him, stunned, her tears silently questioning his cruel words.
Later, Rishi sits alone in his cabin, thoughts spiralling. The police officer visits him to discuss Simulboni’s secret mission. Rishi curtly reminds him that they cannot openly talk about such matters. Amid their conversation, Rishi learns that Krishnand visited recently. Suddenly, the officer’s tone changes as he mentions a disturbing rumour making rounds in the department – a rumour about Rishi being romantically involved with a village girl.
Hearing this, Rishi freezes. The officer continues, saying such whispers are never good for anyone’s reputation. Rishi tries to brush it off and orders him to leave immediately. But once alone, he crumbles under guilt. He decides he can’t continue living with this secret suffocating him. He resolves to tell Aditi the truth.
In the evening, Rishi meets Aditi at a restaurant. Aditi gently scolds him for not calling her the entire day. She apologises for Arshi’s rude behaviour earlier. Rishi, drowning in his guilt, brushes it off and says they shouldn’t discuss Arshi. Aditi, sensing something is off, asks him to stop avoiding her. Rishi looks away, confessing that their family backgrounds are vastly different and will always remain so.
Aditi, trying to hold onto him, says she even fought with Arshi for his sake. Rishi bitterly says he knows, but he can’t ignore the reality that Arshi isn’t happy about him becoming her son-in-law, and frankly, he isn’t thrilled about having Arshi as his mother-in-law either. Aditi is hurt by his words and pleads with him not to treat her this way. Rishi promises he won’t and she holds his hand, seeking comfort in his presence while he remains lost in his moral dilemma.
The next day brings new chaos. Dadabhai hurries everyone, telling them they will miss the auspicious time if they don’t leave soon. Abhimanyu teases the ladies for taking over four hours to get ready. Indumati retorts that this time is special, and they deserve to look their best. Amidst the rush, Dadabhai asks about Jhanak’s whereabouts. She soon appears, her eyes still carrying yesterday’s sadness.
Just as everyone is leaving, Rishi arrives and is startled by the noisy commotion. Indumati informs him that they are heading to Aditi’s house. Rishi is shocked to learn that Jhanak is accompanying them. He questions why she is going along. Abhimanyu intervenes, saying Aniruddh specifically invited Jhanak too. Rishi’s face turns pale, fearing what if Jhanak ends up revealing the truth to Aditi in her emotional turmoil.
The episode ends, leaving viewers at the edge of their seats, wondering how long Rishi can hide his secrets before everything falls apart.

This episode beautifully balanced silent pain with explosive drama. Jhanak’s quiet grief, Rishi’s guilt-ridden mind, and Aditi’s desperate attempts to save their strained relationship were shown realistically. However, Tanushri’s interrogation style felt like a teacher scolding a student for incomplete homework rather than a caring family member. The police officer’s rumour confrontation added tension but could have been more threatening for stronger impact.

A gripping watch with emotional depth, though the narrative could pace up to reach the reveal point sooner. Still, a solid episode that tugs at viewers’ hearts and keeps curiosity alive for tomorrow.
