Mrs. Sharma, with her no-nonsense attitude, firmly tells Katha that her exam paper stands cancelled and she can appear again in the next semester. The world comes crashing down for Katha. As she stands there absorbing the blow, her eyes fall on UV’s café pamphlet lying nearby. Her mind immediately connects the dots – UV is behind this sabotage. After all, it’s her wedding day, and life clearly wants to test her patience from all fronts today.
She pours out her agony, her dreams of becoming something bigger than her circumstances momentarily crushed. The thought of UV snatching away her exam and her dream on such a crucial day fills her heart with anger and bitterness. She vows not to forgive him for this betrayal.
Meanwhile, at Jindal’s house, Eshwar is seen instructing workers to finish the wedding preparations swiftly. Just then, Mohan arrives with his family, bringing a quiet yet hopeful aura along. Eshwar warmly welcomes them and immediately asks about Katha. Mohan informs him that she has gone to college to appear for her exam. Eshwar’s face turns tense as he remembers that UV too is in college today to reopen his café. He silently prays, hoping things don’t get messier than they already are.
Trying to keep his worries aside, Eshwar informs Mohan about Kailash and Chandrika’s arrival and suggests that Katha should take their blessings once she returns. Mohan agrees, feeling humbled. He then thanks Eshwar for handling all arrangements so well, but Eshwar simply expresses his gratitude towards Mohan for agreeing to this alliance. Deep down, he worries about what will happen if anyone sees Mohan’s family there before time.
Elsewhere, Naina receives a call from Prerna, who informs her about Katha’s paper cancellation. Naina is shocked. Without wasting a second, she assures her parents that she will bring Katha home and leaves. Mohan and Vandana’s worry intensifies as they silently pray for their daughter’s well-being.
At the college, Katha is seen sitting with tears streaming down her face as Prerna comforts her. She vents out her pain, sharing how hard she worked for this exam. She blames UV for ruining her dreams and stamping out the only ray of hope she had held onto for her future. Naina arrives at the scene and gently tells Katha not to lose hope, reminding her that God’s plans are above everyone’s intentions. She asks Katha to come home and focus on her marriage, leaving her in a whirlwind of emotions.
Katha feels like her dreams are slipping away one by one. She wonders if she can ever study again after marriage. But then, remembering Eshwar and Mohan, she gathers courage. She decides that if she fails in her studies, she won’t fail in her marriage, as it is their decision and she cannot let them down. Her eyes brim with silent acceptance, hiding her shattered dreams behind bridal smiles.
Just then, UV arrives at the college with his group, discussing the café’s new menu plans like nothing else matters in the world. He sees Katha wiping her tears and chooses to taunt her, showing absolutely no empathy for her state. His words sting Katha, but he walks away without a flicker of guilt, further cementing her hatred towards him.
Later, UV reaches home only to criticise Shlok’s attire. Shlok, who is genuinely concerned about the wedding proceeding smoothly, asks UV to get ready before Chandrika sees him like that. UV argues back, refusing to follow anyone’s orders. Chandrika arrives just then and notices UV’s indifferent attitude towards the wedding. She calls Rukmini and complains about her grandson’s careless behaviour on his big day. Rukmini, relieved to see UV home, asks him to change quickly and not utter any inauspicious words before the rituals begin.
Shlok and others drag UV to his room to prepare him as the groom. UV remains stubborn, declaring that this wedding holds no value in his life. Shlok, hurt by UV’s bitterness, reminds him that he is kind, sensible, and compassionate, and behaving like this is beneath him. UV, with his walls firmly up, reveals he is only marrying for the café’s sake and further mocks his bride for agreeing to marry him without even meeting him once. Despite his harsh words, he eventually gives in to Shlok’s request and gets ready as the groom, with the help of his cousins.
Meanwhile, Katha is seen getting ready as a bride. Her heart is heavy with grief over her cancelled exam and UV’s cold behaviour. As she looks at her reflection, her eyes only see broken dreams instead of bridal glow. She silently curses UV for ruining her only chance at building a life beyond marriage, completely unaware that her destiny is going to intertwine with his sooner than she thinks.
The episode ends with Katha sitting silently, holding onto her tears and anger, blaming UV for shattering her dreams on the day she needed them the most.

This episode delivered emotional weight without unnecessary dragging. Katha’s agony felt real and raw, highlighting how women often sacrifice their ambitions silently for family honour. UV’s character, meanwhile, continues to come off as cold, selfish, and lacking the basic decency expected from a lead male character. The emotional dialogues were impactful, though UV’s taunts are getting repetitive without depth.

The emotional realism and pacing were strong, but UV’s character needs layers beyond arrogance for the storyline to remain fresh and gripping.
