Zee TV’s popular show Kumkum Bhagya is witnessing high-voltage emotional drama with Prarthna’s life turning upside down after Bua Maa’s harsh words. Prarthna is shattered as Bua Maa blames her for all the problems Shivansh is facing in his life. Ever since his marriage with Prarthna, Shivansh seems to have turned Raunak and Sonalika into his sworn enemies.
It is known to all that Shivansh married Prarthna just to take revenge from Smita Zaveri, but destiny took a different route when Smita’s life fell in danger. In a shocking twist, Shivansh saved Smita from the deadly goons, risking his own life, and this melted Smita’s hatred towards him. Smita, who once despised Shivansh, is now turning into a loving mother figure for him. Their bond seems to be finally healing, bringing a rare peace to Shivansh’s stormy life.
However, his marriage with Prarthna has become the biggest reason behind the chaos. Raunak, who once loved Prarthna deeply, feels betrayed and wants her back in his life at any cost. On the other hand, Sonalika feels Shivansh has ruined her dreams and given her the worst betrayal of life. Burning with revenge, Sonalika is determined to destroy Shivansh and snatch away everything from him, including his business and peace of mind.
Caught in this turmoil, Prarthna silently prays for Shivansh’s safety and success. Her love is selfless, and she wants him to prosper without any threats looming over him. But Bua Maa’s suggestion shakes her core. Bua Maa urges Prarthna to divorce Shivansh and let him marry Sonalika instead, as this will calm Sonalika’s anger and even Raunak will stop plotting against Shivansh. Bua Maa emotionally blackmails Prarthna by saying that if she truly cares for Shivansh, she should leave him for his well-being and good future.
Prarthna is left broken by this advice. Her heart believes in her kumkum bhagya, her sacred marital bond, and she wants to keep her marriage intact forever. Raunak comes to the hospital and sees Prarthna sleeping on a chair outside Shivansh’s recovery room. He sits down to talk to her. He tells her that he will get her love. He recalls Prarthna and his incomplete wedding. He doesn’t wake her up. He thinks to finish his work first and leaves. He goes to meet Shivansh. He tells that Shivansh is his stepbrother, but Shivansh has to die, because he won’t get Prarthna until Shivansh lives. He wonders what to do. His phone rings. Prarthna wakes up and hears the ringtone.
Raunak takes Payal’s call. He tells her that he has come to the hospital and he is inside Shivansh’s ward. She asks him not to do anything stupid. She tells that there are CCTV cameras inside the hospital and he will be caught. He asks her to shut up and let him do what he wants. He removes Shivansh’s oxygen mask. Prarthna enters the ward. Bua Maa gets the security guard’s call. She wonders what’s the matter.
Tanya asks her to answer the call. The guard Mahesh tells Bua Maa that Sonalika is looking for her. Bua Maa asks him not to tell anything to Sonalika. She tells Tanya that they have to go home and look after Sonalika to calm her rage. They head to meet the doctor and talk about Shivansh. Smita is restless in sleep. She wakes up screaming. Kanti asks her what’s wrong, if she is okay. She tells about her bad dream.
She shares the worry. She tells that she felt Raunak and Shivansh’s lives are in danger. Kanti pacifies her. He tells that she didn’t tell the world, Shivansh is her son, and nobody is aware of this truth. He asks her to take a rest. She wants to go and see Shivansh. She thinks about how to tell Kanti about it. Raunak hides from Prarthna. She fixes the oxygen mask back and stabilizes Shivansh. Raunak doesn’t want Prarthna to see him and hate him for stooping low. He just wants to get Prarthna back.
He is ready to cross any limits to get her. Prarthna wonders who has removed the oxygen mask. She says Shivansh’s life is in danger. She decides to stay back with Shivansh. She calls the ward boy and informs him about someone removing Shivansh’s oxygen mask. The ward boy tells that one of the goons might have done this to kill Shivansh. Raunak thinks he got saved.
Prarthna tells that the culprit is still inside the ward. The ward boy looks for the goon. Raunak hides. Prarthna tells that she heard someone’s phone ringing. Raunak steps out of the window and escapes. Prarthna tells that someone was there, Shivansh is in danger, she will stay with Shivansh and protect him. Raunak gets angered that Prarthna came and saved Shivansh’s life. Payal comes to the hospital and meets Raunak.
He asks her why did she come. She takes his car keys and asks him to get out of the car. He asks what she wants to say. She tells that he believes she wants to hurt him, but she is with him and he should trust her. He tells that he trusts her. She doesn’t want Raunak to make any blunders. She asks him to attack his enemy when he isn’t ready for the attack.
She tells him that Shivansh is weak, and Raunak should take advantage of this situation. She asks him to go to Shivansh’s house and get the case evidence, business files, and project details. She suggests Raunak should attack Shivansh’s business as well, and give a good end to their battle. Raunak agrees. The doctor checks Shivansh and tells Prarthna that he is out of danger.
Bua Maa and Tanya come to see Shivansh. Bua Maa asks Prarthna why she is afraid. Prarthna tells her about someone’s presence. Bua Maa tells that she isn’t interested in knowing the details, Prarthna saved Shivansh’s life and did a wife’s duty. She adds that Prarthna didn’t do anything big. Prarthna updates about Shivansh’s condition. Bua Maa tells that she has to go home and take care of Sonalika. She asks Prarthna to take care of Shivansh. Prarthna agrees. Bua Maa and Tanya leave.
Kanti falls asleep. Smita decides to go to Raunak’s room and see him once. She feels restless. Kanti wakes up and looks for Smita. Smita doesn’t find Raunak in his room. She worries for him. Kanti comes there. She asks about Raunak. Kanti asks her to relax, Raunak is already worried, and she shouldn’t pressurize him. He tells that Raunak hates Shivansh, and now his hatred has doubled. He asks her to give some time to Raunak.
Bua Maa comes home and meets Sonalika. Sonalika tells that she is okay and she doesn’t want Bua Maa around her. Bua Maa leaves. Raunak enters Shivansh’s house. Payal waits for him inside the car. The guards miss seeing Raunak. Payal calls Raunak and asks if he is okay. Raunak says yes. He thinks everyone has gone to the hospital. She asks him to get the documents and come out as soon as possible. He asks her not to worry. He sneaks into Shivansh’s room. He checks the drawers.
Sonalika sees Raunak and assumes he is a thief. She goes to hit him. Raunak turns and stops him. She sees Raunak and asks what he is doing. She calls the guards. The guards see Raunak in the CCTV footage. They call Prarthna and inform her about Raunak. She gets angry. She tells that she will come home and confront Raunak. She stops and thinks she can’t leave Shivansh alone. She gets into a dilemma. She remembers Shivansh’s words about the evidence against Raunak. She wants to get Raunak arrested this time.
Raunak asks Sonalika not to shout. He tells that he is also angry with Shivansh. Sonalika shouts. Raunak stops her. Prarthna calls the constable and asks him to go to the Randhawa house and arrest Raunak. Gayatri gets food for Prarthna. Prarthna hugs Gayatri and thanks her for coming. She asks Gayatri to stay with Shivansh until she goes home and comes back. She asks Gayatri to guard Shivansh, the goons are still trying to kill him, and the danger isn’t over. Gayatri worries.
