Kumkum Bhagya 12th July 2025 Written Update: Shivansh Falls For Prarthna. Today in Kumkum Bhagya, Bua Maa blames Prarthna for trying hard to win Shivansh’s heart. She asks why did she break her promise and came home, leaving Shivansh alone at the hospital. Prarthna tells her that she got to know Raunak sneaked into the house, she asked Gayatri to stay back with Shivansh, she came home and saw Raunak fleeing with Shivansh’s documents, she tried to stop him, but he escaped. Bua Maa tells that she should have first given a priority to Shivansh. She wants to go to Shivansh and take care of him.
She asks Prarthna not to accompany her. Sonalika comes to the hospital and enquires about Shivansh’s ward. Sonalika rushes to see him. She gets worried for him. She asks Shivansh if he is okay. She cries for him. He smiles. She asks him to stop smiling, as she is angry with him. She hugs him. He tells that he is hurt. She gets away and apologizes. He asks her if she is okay and still angry with him.
She gets reminded of his deceive. She tells that she loves him and cares for him, so she forgot about his deception for a moment, he has ruined her and now its is turn. Shivansh holds her hand and stops her. She doesn’t listen to him. She leaves. Bua Maa confronts her for her feelings towards Shivansh. She knows Sonalika wants Shivansh back. Sonalika tells that she can live without him.
Bua Maa tells that Sonalika still loves him and wants him back, and she doesn’t need to lie. She tells that she will help Sonalika in getting Shivansh back. Sonalika refuses to accept Shivansh. Bua Maa tells that she can see Sonalika’s love for him. She wants to tackle Prarthna and asks Sonalika to help her. Sonalika refuses to stoop down and compete with a poor girl like Prarthna.
She tells that she knows Shivansh loves her, she can get him back, but she is upset and doesn’t want him. She refuses to forgive him. She is confident that Shivansh loves her. She leaves. Bua Maa knows Shivansh loves Sonalika, but he is just falling for Prarthna. Prarthna recalls Shivansh and her marriage. She misses him and cries. Bua Maa meets Shivansh and asks him if he is okay. He says yes.
She tells that she is worried for him. She asks him if he trusts her. He says he just trusts her. She defends Sonalika and asks him to marry Sonalika for the sake of their love, not for business. He tells that he knows this truth well. She asks him to trust her, and marry Sonalika. She reminds his promise of abandoning Prarthna. Sonalika feels hurt and betrayed. She feels Shivansh has cheated on her, but she still loves him and wants to live with him. She admits she loves Shivansh.
On the other hand, Prarthna prays to Matarani for Shivansh’s well-being. Sonalika comes home and hears Prarthna’s prayer for Shivansh. Prarthna tells that it’s a prayer of a wife for her husband. Sonalika doesn’t want Prarthna to be Shivansh’s wife. Prarthna tells that she will do a wife’s duty and stand by Shivansh’s side. Sonalika gets against it. Prarthna tells that she will get Shivansh in her life. Sonalika wants her love, Shivansh back.
Bua Maa asks Gayatri to leave. Gayatri refuses to leave, until Prarthna comes back. Bua Maa tells that Gayatri doesn’t need to stay. Shivansh asks Gayatri to get a cup of coffee for him when she visits him in the morning. She agrees and asks him to take care. She leaves. He tells Bua Maa that Prarthna asked Gayatri to stay back. Bua Maa tells that Prarthna isn’t a nice person. He understands that she dislikes Prarthna.
The next morning, Prarthna comes to see Shivansh. He wakes up and asks where is Bua Maa. She is glad to talk to him. They have a talk and smile with joy. Sonalika reaches there and sees them sharing a happy moment. She grows mad in rage and leaves. She recollects Prarthna’s words. Bua Maa stops Sonalika and asks why is she angry. Sonalika asks why is she lying.
She tells that Shivansh is with Prarthna, they are romancing and having a moment. She feels she has lost her Shivansh. Bua Maa asks if her anger will fix everything in her life. She advises her to get the situation under her control. Sonalika doesn’t want to listen to anything about Prarthna. She wants Shivansh to just choose her. Bua Maa is glad that Sonalika didn’t give up on Shivansh.
Elsewhere, Raunak vents his anger on the punching bag while recollecting Prarthna’s words. Smita sees Raunak’s disturbed frame of mind. Rauna gets upset with her. She worries for him. He refuses to talk to her. He blames her for his life’s destruction.
He tells that Shivansh wanted revenge on Smita, and snatched his Prarthna. He gets angry and leaves. Prarthna takes care of Shivansh. They get into a romantic moment. Shivansh is lost in her eyes. Bua Maa enters the ward and finds them sharing a moment. It leaves her irked.

Kumkum Bhagya just served a steaming platter of messy love triangles, manipulative elders, and the eternal tears of poor Prarthna. Today’s episode felt like an old soap recipe sprinkled with fresh drama. Bua Maa, with her permanent scowl, blamed Prarthna for everything wrong under the sun – as if it’s her fault Raunak’s doing Olympic-level crimes and Sonalika can’t decide if she wants revenge or a hug.
Sonalika’s scenes were a ride. She loves Shivansh, hates him, then wants him again – please pick a side before your brain short-circuits. Her emotional flip-flops today could give an athlete whiplash. Meanwhile, Bua Maa was in full ‘saas-bahu mastermind’ mode, cooking up plans to throw Prarthna out and prop Sonalika back into Shivansh’s life. Honestly, someone hand her a villain trophy already.
And Shivansh? He’s lying on his hospital bed looking at Prarthna like she’s the cure to all his life problems, while Sonalika fumes in the corridor like a volcano ready to erupt. The final cherry was Raunak, beating up his punching bag, blaming Smita for his life’s misery. News flash, Raunak – it’s your own evil choices catching up with you.
