Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 12th July 2025 Written Update: Spiked Realities, Love Confessions, and Rain Dances. Armaan is lurking around Krish, who obviously notices and questions his hovering presence. Armaan, like a sly fox trying to act casual, replies that everyone is looking for Krish downstairs. Sanjay, meanwhile, thanks Armaan for helping him out, and Armaan, never missing a chance to score, asks Sanjay to return the favour. Sanjay, probably regretting the ‘thank you’ already, wonders what exactly Armaan wants. Krish, sharp as ever, senses something fishy between these two and asks what’s cooking. Armaan quickly brushes it off as a “wedding discussion”. Sure, buddy, like anyone believes that.
Elsewhere, Geetanjali tries to keep the traditional vibes intact by telling Abhira that brides shouldn’t work. Abhira, savage and sweet as always, says she’s just prepping Myra’s dinner and if Geetanjali is so worried, she can cook instead. Geetanjali softens a bit, admitting how possessive she is about Myra. Abhira playfully adds that she would’ve reacted the same way if Myra were her daughter and jokes about running away with her if anyone tried to come close. But she switches from playful to protective in a flash, warning that if she finds out about ‘Pookie’ (probably Armaan or Anshuman in her code words), she won’t leave her alone. Protectiveness Level: Abhira unlocked.
Krish, proving he is a bigger mischief-maker than Armaan, announces a face-off between Armaan and Anshuman and spikes Armaan’s drink for some extra drama. Both men end up consuming the spiked drinks, leading to what can only be described as peak soap opera chaos. Meanwhile, Abhira and Kiara learn about the Poddar house bachelor party, ready to crash it or judge it – not sure which.
Later, in the typical ‘rain solves everything’ TV style, Abhira goes looking for Anshuman but ends up with Armaan, who, high on drink and emotions, stops her and confesses his love. They share a rain dance moment, because why not – rain is cheaper than roses. Just as he is about to utter the three magical words, Anshuman crashes the moment, hugs Abhira like a clingy octopus, and confesses his love too. Abhira stands there like, “What is this, a love triangle audition?” Anshuman desperately asks if she loves him back, while Abhira’s mind screams Armaan’s name.
Armaan, sobered by guilt, realises his confession has messed things up. He regrets betraying Geetanjali (finally remembers her existence) and decides to let Abhira go for her own happiness. He ignores Geetanjali’s call, drowning in his regrets, while Abhira returns home, visibly shaken.
Myra pokes her for details about Armaan, while Geetanjali, sensing the drama, questions what Abhira is hiding. Abhira chooses to remain the queen of mystery, claiming she knows nothing about Armaan and refusing to let his mind games affect her.
But her mind isn’t as stable as her words. Abhira grows restless, wondering why Armaan confessed only to push her back to Anshuman. She feels trapped in his psychological seesaw and decides enough is enough. She calls him, demanding a meet-up to clear her doubts once and for all.

The episode was your usual dose of love confessions, possessive protectiveness, and rain dances sprinkled with alcohol-induced truth bombs. Krish is emerging as the mischief king, spiking drinks and announcing face-offs like he runs WWE. Abhira continues to be the emotional anchor and savage queen, while Armaan is busy being a confused lover boy torn between Geetanjali and Abhira. Anshuman’s entry into the confession chaos was hilarious yet heartbreaking. Overall, a masala-filled episode that keeps the ‘who will she choose’ mystery alive while roasting Armaan for his endless confusion. Grow up, dude. Decide and declare.
