Itti Si Khushi: Sumbul Touqeer and Varun Badola Return with Sony SAB’s New Show

Itti Si Khushi: Sumbul Touqeer and Varun Badola Return with Sony SAB’s New Show. Hot news is coming straight from the world of television! Imlie and Kavya fame Sumbul Touqeer is all set to make a grand comeback on TV with her upcoming show Itti Si Khushi. Known for her powerful performances, Sumbul will now be seen in a completely new avatar on Sony SAB.

The promo of Itti Si Khushi gives us a heartfelt glimpse into the life of a middle-class family, fighting daily struggles yet managing to smile through it all. Sumbul plays the role of the eldest daughter of the house, a girl who has carried responsibilities much beyond her age. Her powerful dialogue in the promo resonates deeply – “Mushkilon se har baar ladkar raasta nikala hai. Is ghar ko maa nahi, maa jaisi beti ne paala hai.” (Every time I fought difficulties and found a way. This house wasn’t raised by a mother, but by a daughter who became like a mother.)

The promo also features Varun Badola, a name loved by Indian television audiences for decades. He plays Sumbul’s father, a man who hasn’t been able to give up his drinking habits. Yet, she promises, “Baba bhale hi baatli na chhodenge, par hum unhe akela nahi chhodenge.” (Even if Baba doesn’t leave his bottle, I will never leave him alone.) Their bond is layered with pain, care, and silent acceptance.

In one light-hearted scene, when teased about delaying her future husband, she says with a smile, “Hero thoda wait karega toh chalega na?” (If the hero waits a little, it’s okay, right?) This one line sums up her attitude – a girl who juggles responsibilities and dreams with equal ease.

The show promises raw realism wrapped in everyday humour. Its dialogues are simple yet deeply impactful – “Problems chahe chhappad faad ke barse, hum nahi darenge. Bas chipkali dikh jaye toh matter alag hai.” (Problems may pour endlessly, we won’t fear them. But if a lizard shows up, that’s a different matter altogether!) Her quirky nature and fearless words instantly connect with viewers.

Itti Si Khushi will stream from August on Sony SAB and Sony LIV. With Sumbul’s emotional performance and Varun Badola’s powerful presence, this show is set to bring fresh warmth and relatable moments to your screens.

Stay tuned to watch how this brave daughter’s little joys become her biggest strength amidst life’s endless struggles.
