Kumkum Bhagya 15th July 2025 Written Update: Prarthna Accepts Sonalika’s Cruel Challenge with Faith in Shivansh
Today’s episode of Kumkum Bhagya was packed with emotional storms, heartbreaking decisions, and silent vows of love. Prarthna and Shivansh are finally enjoying the warmth of their marriage. Their love is blooming beautifully, making them inseparable like the sky and the sea. But as always, happiness has enemies, and Sonalika is one of them. She cannot stand seeing Prarthna happy with Shivansh.
Meanwhile, Bua Maa is in deep distress. Raunak’s evil plans threaten to destroy the family completely. Her old, tired heart trembles with fear of the upcoming storm. She runs to Sonalika for help, hoping that her power and sharp mind will save them. Folding her hands with tears of helplessness, Bua Maa begs Sonalika to intervene. Sonalika smirks inwardly. She agrees to help, but only on one cruel condition – Prarthna must leave Shivansh and divorce him.
Bua Maa feels like the ground has slipped beneath her feet. But with Raunak’s threats looming large, she has no choice. She goes to Prarthna with heavy steps and begs her to sacrifice her love for Shivansh’s future and their family’s happiness. Prarthna’s world shatters. Tears roll down her cheeks as her heart screams in pain. She cannot imagine living without Shivansh, yet she knows the family’s fate rests on her shoulders now.
While Prarthna stands broken, Sonalika celebrates her partial victory. She has always wanted to kick Prarthna out of Shivansh’s life, and now her dreams seem closer. She boldly challenges Prarthna that Shivansh himself will throw her out one day.
But today, Prarthna rises with fierce dignity. She accepts Sonalika’s challenge with a confident smile, her eyes brimming with determination. She tells Sonalika that she has unshakeable faith in Shivansh’s love. No conspiracy, no manipulation can weaken their bond. Sonalika fumes with anger seeing Prarthna’s calm strength and starts plotting her next deadly move.
The battleground is set between Sonalika and Prarthna. Will Sonalika succeed in separating the couple, or will Prarthna’s faith in love conquer this storm too? Will Shivansh stand by Prarthna when truth unfolds?

Raunak asks his lawyer to make sure that Randhawas vacate the house or land in the police station. Smita asks him what is he doing. He tells that he has already answered her and he doesn’t want to talk to her. She tells that she is his mom and wants to talk to him. He tells that he sees Shivansh’s mom in her and doesn’t respect her. He adds that his mom was loving and caring, and he used to respect her. Smita is in tears. Payal feels odd and leaves with Raunak. Bua Maa asks Prarthna if she is happy now.
Prarthna tells that she didn’t understand what she means. Bua Maa blames Prarthna since her lover Raunak is causing harm to their family. Tanya tells that she feels so helpless, Shivansh was so powerful before and Raunak has given them a notice to vacate the house, when Shivansh is hospitalized. Bua Maa tells that Raunak knows Shivansh is weak and can’t counter this attack, Raunak is taking an advantage of their bad time, and its all because of Prarthna.
She tells that Prarthna is the reason for Shivansh’s misfortune. She adds that Sonalika wants to ruin Shivansh and take revenge and Prarthna is the reason for it. She calls Prarthna unlucky for the family, as Prarthna has brought in bad luck and troubles for them. She curses Prarthna in anger. Prarthna is in tears. She fails to tolerate a statement more and runs to her room, crying.
Shivansh tells the doctor that he wants to go home. The doctor tells that the treatment is still going on. Shivansh suggests that he takes the treatment at home. The doctor agrees to think and decide it at a later time. Shivansh sees Smita coming and acts to be sleeping. Smita enters the ward and cries.
She blesses him. She sits by his side. He thinks why did she come to see him and show her motherly rights. She tells that she doesn’t know why she came to see him, she is affected by Raunak and his fights, she doesn’t know if she loves or hates him, and she just wanted to see him once. She blesses him. She leaves. Shivansh cries and turns emotional. He tells that Smita just has questions and he has the answers.
He feels she doesn’t love him, she came here because of her guilt, she didn’t come for his sake and she is still the same. Bua Maa asks Sonalika if she will handle the legal matter. Sonalika asks her if she is asking this so late after the storm has come. She tells that Bua Maa might have asked this before and stopped Prarthna and Shivansh’s marriage. She refuses to become a part of this mess, since she isn’t involved.
She tells Bua Maa that Prarthna did this harm to them and she hates her. Bua Maa pleads with her. Sonalika tells that she met with an accident and stayed with them on Bua Maa’s request, it was her kindness and Bua Maa wants to misuse her goodness. Bua Maa and Tanya worry. Bua Maa goes to Prarthna and finds her crying. Prarthna gets ready to face more insults and taunts.
Bua Maa cries and expresses her helplessness. She begs Prarthna to save them. She tells that just Prarthna can save their family. She calls Prarthna her last hope. Prarthna asks Bua Maa not to fold hands to her and just command her. She agrees to do anything to save them.
Bua Maa asks her to leave Shivansh and end their marriage. Prarthna refuses. Bua Maa asks her to just break the marriage and free Shivansh. She tells that Raunak and Sonalika will continue to take revenge on Shivansh, until Prarthna is there. She adds that she went to request Sonalika to save the house, but Sonalika is angry, once Prarthna leaves Shivansh, Sonalika will marry Shivansh and save the family.
She tells that its not about their house or property, but about the dream project of Shivansh’s late dad, if Shivansh loses that project, then he will shatter, Shivansh loves his dad a lot and he has much regret in his heart, he couldn’t understand his dad and know his sacrifices, he wants to complete his dad’s dream project and give him a tribute. She adds that Shivansh will get ruined and he will never live a peaceful life if he loses the project, its his dream and he really needs it.
Prarthna recollects Shivansh sharing his happiness and revealing about his dad’s dream project. She tells Bua Maa that she knows about Shivansh’s dream project. Bua Maa asks her if she doesn’t want to get back his dream project. She tells that only Sonalika can help Shivansh and it can happen only if Prarthna leaves him. Prarthna says she can’t leave her husband. Bua Maa asks her not to act selfish and ruin them. Prarthna tells that she will try to fix everything. Bua Maa replies that Prarthna can’t save their family.
She pleads with her to divorce Shivansh. She explains the dire consequences to her and cries profusely. Prarthna cries and leaves. She madly runs on the road and breaks down, recollecting Bua Maa’s words. She walks barefoot and doesn’t realize that her feet are bleeding. She thinks of her life with Shivansh. She sees a couple fighting. She gets reminded of Shivansh again. She stands crying.
She hears the Banjarans singing. She then sees some devotees rushing to meet Kalyani Maa. Prarthna rushes to the temple and prays to Matarani. She tells that her life is facing a big storm. She wants Matarani’s help. She tells that she can’t break her marriage. Kalyani hears Prarthna’s story. She asks Prarthna what’s important to her, her husband or herself, his happiness or sorrow, his support or his good future. Prarthna answers her. Kalyani asks if Prarthna loves Shivansh. Prarthna says yes.
Kalyani tells that love means sacrifice and it connects hearts, love is strange, fate doesn’t let them unite and the universe keeps them connected. She lectures Prarthna on love. She asks Prarthna to leave Shivansh and make a sacrifice if she loves him.
She tells that Prarthna has no answers to her questions, but she will soon get every answer, if she stays married to Shivansh, she will know if she should keep the marriage or free Shivansh. She suggests that Prarthna leaves Shivansh, if he returns to her, then he will become her biggest support, else she must understand that he never belonged to her.
Kumkum Bhagya 15th July 2025 Written Update Review:
Today’s episode served a heavy platter of tears, guilt-trips, and emotional blackmail – classic soap opera masala. Raunak continued his villain era with lawyer threats while poor Smita tried to parent him, only to get roasted about how she’s no mother in his eyes.
Bua Maa’s character deserves an award for shifting gears from cursing Prarthna to begging her within minutes. One moment she’s calling her “unlucky,” and the next she’s falling at her feet, pleading her to leave Shivansh for the greater good. Ma’am, consistency kaha hai?
Prarthna, the eternal tragedy queen, runs barefoot on roads, bleeding her heart out, seeking divine guidance. The temple scene with Kalyani Maa felt poetic, but also made me wonder why every solution on TV boils down to “sacrifice your happiness for his dream project.”
Meanwhile, Shivansh remains clueless, hospitalised, and brooding over his mother’s cold visit while Sonalika plots her queen move to snatch his kingdom and marry him for family salvation. The writers continue to pile melodrama but honestly, it keeps viewers hooked.
Let’s see if Prarthna’s sacrifice makes her a Goddess in everyone’s eyes tomorrow or just a pawn lost in love’s brutal game.
