Raghunath tells Pushpa that he wants to get Bipin married to Anu, and he has no objection to her studies or job. He asks them if they are okay with the alliance. Gopal refuses, but Pushpa considers the alliance. Raghu apologizes to them and acts sweet. He tells them that Anu got a job in the Vardhan group, and he has no problem with her job. He asks them to decide and let him know.
Meera finds the peon removing her stuff from the desk and goes to ask. Jhende tells her that he doesn’t understand it either. He asks if she is going somewhere. She says no. The peon says Arya asked him to remove her stuff. She gets angry. Jhende asks her to talk to Arya. She tells him that Arya can’t remove her from the job.
Gopal tells Pushpa that he won’t get Anu married to Bipin. Anu tells them that she agrees with Gopal. Pushpa does emotional blackmail. Raghu tells Rajni that he went to apologize to Anu’s family and also gave his consent for the marriage. Rajni asks why he went there. Raghu tells her that Anu will get respect for him because she has gained a job in Arya’s company. He wants Anu to help his business by getting contracts from Arya’s company.
He scolds Bipin for playing kiddish mobile games. He asks Bipin to impress Anu and get close to her. He tells him that Bipin should have good terms with Arya so that their business prospers.
Meera asks Arya why he removed her from the position when she has worked hard for years. Arya tells her that he took the decision for the company’s betterment; he has made a new recruitment. She agrees to his decision. She doesn’t plead with him for her job and leaves.
Anu and Gopal try to convince Pushpa. Arya stops Meera from leaving. He tells her that she will welcome the new employee. Meera apologizes and refuses his wish. He tells her that she can’t refuse him. He gives her an envelope. She checks the job promotion letter and is surprised. He congratulates her for being promoted to the vice president post. Jhende tells Meera that Arya has given her a new, bigger cabin. Meera can’t ask for more. She smiles with joy. She thanks Arya. Arya tells her that she deserves it. He adds that he has appointed an assistant for her work. She asks who. He says she will know it soon.
Anu gets ready to leave for work and takes her parents’ blessings. They bless and wish her all the best. Bipin meets Anu and wishes her. Simran too wishes Anu.
Meera wants to know who is the new recruit. Anu reaches the office, and her slipper breaks. Meera sees Anu and asks her why she came. Anu asks her to check the envelope once. Jhende also urges Meera to check it once. Meera is shocked to see Anu’s appointment letter. Arya welcomes Anu and introduces Meera and Jhende to her. He asks her to come and see her desk. Anu thanks him for showing faith in her. Arya wishes her all the best. Anu occupies Meera’s desk. Jhende provokes Meera. Meera tells him that she will oust Anu soon.
Anu calls Gopal and shares her happiness with him. Gopal gets taunted by his boss. Anu hears the taunts and gets sad.
Anu lights up incense sticks near the Matarani idol. The fire alarm rings. The staff runs out of the office. Arya goes out to check. Anu is puzzled. Arya, Jhende, and Meera help the staff move out and leave the premises. Meera checks the incense sticks at Anu’s desk and realizes why the fire alarms rang. She smirks that Anu has burnt her future by making such a mistake.

Meanwhile, Meera’s world turned upside down when Arya removed her from her position, only to stun her with a promotion later. Her pride kept her from pleading, and that strength ironically rewarded her. Anu’s entry into the Vardhan group was no grand welcome either. Meera’s eyes burned with jealousy as Anu occupied her desk. The final scene left a bitter aftertaste, with Anu’s innocent incense sticks triggering a fire alarm, leaving her dignity on shaky grounds.
