Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 17th July 2025 Written Update: The Pain of Losing Pookie

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 17th July 2025 Written Update: The Pain of Losing Pookie. The episode begins with a storm in Abhira’s heart. Her world stops for a moment when she sees little Myra wearing Pookie’s dress. For a fleeting second, Abhira’s eyes lit up with hope – but reality came crashing down like a cruel joke. Myra innocently tells Geetanjali that she changed her dress because she wants to play the role of Abhira’s daughter, Pookie.

Abhira stands stunned, fighting tears. Myra, sweet and naive, asks Abhira for a hug, expecting warmth and love in return. But Abhira’s mind races – she thinks Myra is becoming too attached to her, and that attachment will only bring pain and confusion, especially for Geetanjali and Armaan.

Trying to detach herself, Abhira tells Myra to go to her parents. Poor Myra, unable to understand the coldness in Abhira’s voice, asks what she did wrong. Abhira scolds her to go back to Geetanjali. Those harsh words sting Myra’s tiny heart. With tears rolling down her cheeks, Myra calls Abhira rude and bad – spitting out the words that cut deeper than any sword. And then she adds, “That’s why Pookie isn’t with you.”

Ouch. That sentence alone could break a person into pieces. Abhira stands there, shaken, her soul shattered. Armaan, seeing this, gets furious at Myra for misbehaving. But Myra, too small to hold in such big emotions, cries harder, saying that both Armaan and Abhira are bad, and only Geetanjali loves her. Abhira silently decides it’s best she leaves, unable to take more of this heartbreak.

Elsewhere, Kiara tells Abhir to call Charu as he wants to speak to her. But Abhir ignores her, giving her that suspicious “I am hiding something” vibe. Kiara’s sixth sense doesn’t rest, and she suspects Abhir is up to something.

Back home, Dadu scolds Abhira for her harshness towards Myra, reminding her how hard Myra tried to make her happy. But Abhira, holding back her sobs, says it was needed – she doesn’t want Myra to get attached to her because it would be unfair to Geetanjali and Armaan. Unknowingly, Geetanjali and Armaan overhear her selfless reasoning. Geetanjali thanks Abhira for thinking so deeply about their family. Abhira, with trembling hands, takes back Pookie’s dress, her heart sinking with every fold of the cloth.

Meanwhile, Kiara wonders why she is stuck alone in the Poddar house while everyone is at the Goenka house, only to soon discover a truth that stuns her. Abhir performs Charu’s last rites in silence. Kiara’s world spins when she learns about Charu’s cancer, and Abhir begs her to keep this truth hidden from Sanjay and Kajal.

In her room, Abhira sits lost in thought, thinking about how she scolded Myra. Anshuman finds her crying and tries to comfort her. Abhira, with her spirit breaking, decides to end her search for Pookie. She tells Anshuman that Myra was right – she lost Pookie because of herself. Anshuman gently tries to explain that kids often speak without filters, but Abhira insists kids never lie. Her pain speaks louder than logic as she declares she will no longer look for Pookie.

At the same time, Armaan sits down with Myra, telling her that her words hurt Abhira deeply. Myra stubbornly calls Abhira bad. Armaan explains that sometimes even those who love you scold you. Myra, clutching her wounded pride, says only parents can scold. Armaan reminds her that even Geetanjali scolds her, and she never minds. But Myra argues that Geetanjali has known her forever while Abhira is no one to her. Armaan asks her to apologize to Abhira, but Myra refuses, her little heart filled with confusion.

Elsewhere, Manoj tries to record Krish’s confession. But Krish, sharp as ever, catches on to Manoj’s trick the moment he hears him speak against Armaan. With a smirk, he decides to handle Armaan himself, leaving Manoj’s plan hanging in midair.

In the end, Abhira tearfully confirms to Kaveri that she has stopped looking for Pookie. Her heart remembers every hug, every innocent smile, and every moment she spent with her little girl.

Precap

Abhira thinks only Armaan can help her find Pookie now. But fate has other plans as Armaan collapses unconscious before her eyes. Kaveri worries that if Anshuman finds out Myra’s truth, things will spiral further. She regrets stopping Armaan from telling Abhira the truth earlier, knowing that only he has the right to reveal it.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 17th July 2025 Written Update Review

This episode was a brutal emotional ride. Abhira’s selflessness is heartbreaking, and Myra’s innocence added more salt to her wounds. The dialogues were powerful and honest, hitting like cold reality. The writers are pushing Abhira into a dark pit, and viewers are feeling every scratch on her soul. Armaan fainting in the precap hints at another storm brewing.

The story is gripping, with every character carrying a hidden guilt or pain, making it impossible to look away. But seriously, Myra calling Abhira bad was savage – kids really know how to roast without mercy. Let’s see how Armaan’s truth bomb explodes in the upcoming episodes.
