Bade Acche Lagte Hai 22nd July 2025 Written Update: Bhagyashree’s Spicy Love Confession, Rishabh’s Bitter Twist. The episode kicks off with Bhagyashree sulking like a five-year-old who lost her chocolate. She tells Rishabh she’s not in the mood to dance. But Rishabh, ever the motivational speaker, tells her to support him and show her ex that her life is beyond his petty imagination. Basically, he turns the dance floor into a revenge runway. He reminds her to focus on dance steps, not exes.
As they groove together, Bhagyashree spots Nikhil lurking in the crowd like a jealous hawk. Rishabh warns her not to get distracted by that clown and to remember how Nikhil tried to break her self-esteem, but she rose like a phoenix and is now fearlessly living her life. The two dance beautifully, grabbing all eyes in the room, while Nikhil stands there sulking, his face screaming “regret.”
Bhagyashree’s friends join the dance, adding more masala to the celebration. Nikhil becomes so distracted by Bhagyashree’s glow-up dance that he can’t even pay attention to his current girlfriend, a fact Rishabh notices with secret amusement. As the music fades, Bhagyashree recalls every time Rishabh has been her support system. Emotional, she hugs him tightly. Rishabh hugs her back with quiet warmth until the crowd claps, ruining their intimate moment.
Meanwhile, Padma, far away, asks Karthik when Sowmya is arriving. Karthik replies, “In two days.” (Thanks for the random update, show writers.)
Back at the party, Nikhil approaches Bhagyashree with fake sweetness, asking her for a dance to relive their old memories. Rishabh immediately steps in, shutting down this toxic nostalgia trip by saying, “It’s not good to revisit the past.” Nandini tries to mediate, calling it just a dance, but Rishabh claps back with, “I’m not someone who replaces people in life.” Boom. Nikhil mocks him, but Rishabh fires back with another burn: “I’m not someone who abandons their partner.”
Rishabh takes cute selfies with Bhagyashree and sends them to Padma, who beams with joy seeing their photos and proudly tells the family, “I’m glad we sent them on this honeymoon.”
At the party, Nikhil continues his petty taunts, asking why they’re on a honeymoon now. Bhagyashree warns him to stay out of their conversation. Nikhil smugly claims he knows her better. Bhagyashree snaps back, “I was naive before.” Nikita, ever the voice of unnecessary advice, tells her to move on. Rishabh jumps in like the hero he is, declaring, “She moved on long ago. Nikhil may have given her wings, but today she’s the head of the company, and that credit goes to her, not you.”
Nikhil drops cash for the server and arrogantly says he has plenty more. Rishabh roasts him again, “Then you don’t know its value. I’ll keep it.” Nikhil smirks, saying Rishabh likes things he left behind, to which Rishabh replies, “That’s your loss and my gain.” Nikhil invites them to stay longer, but Bhagyashree shuts him down, saying they’re leaving and bids Harsha goodbye.
Later, at the hotel, Rishabh, Bhagyashree, and the Singh couple admire Mr. Kapoor’s limited-edition watch. They take selfies, and Singh comments that Rishabh’s love for Bhagyashree is evident in his eyes. Singh predicts something special will happen tonight. (We hope so too, Singh Ji.)
At dinner, Singh offers to pay the bill, but Bhagyashree, seeing the insane prices, sweetly lies that she’s not hungry to avoid burdening him. She sends them ahead.
Outside, Rishabh and Bhagyashree indulge in a street food spicy challenge. Bhagyashree, her eyes tearing up from the spice, looks at Rishabh and gathers her courage. Overwhelmed, she finally confesses, “I love you.” Rishabh is stunned silent.
She continues pouring her heart out, saying that after Nikhil’s betrayal, she never imagined loving anyone again. But Rishabh changed everything. She admits that earlier she believed something was lacking in her, but now she knows she’s enough. She calls Rishabh her “green forest,” appreciating his honesty and simplicity. She ends by saying, “You always say people should express their feelings—so I did.”
Rishabh coughs awkwardly. Concerned, Bhagyashree asks if he’s okay. He brushes it off as acidity (seriously, writers?). He tells her to go to the room while he takes a walk. Alone in the room, Bhagyashree blushes to herself, thinking, “I love you, Rishabh. I finally told you.”
Precap: Bhagyashree is seen on call with Sonia, gushing about how much she loves Rishabh. Meanwhile, Rishabh, back in his original attire, burns a photo of himself with Bhagyashree, saying, “Some mistakes can never be forgiven.” (Ouch. Drama loading.)

This episode was packed with savage burns, spicy confessions, and a twist ending that broke our hearts. Bhagyashree’s growth from a naive girl to a confident woman owning her love was beautiful to watch. Rishabh, as always, was the silent protector, although his acidity excuse deserves an award for worst mood killer. Nikhil remains the poster boy of toxic exes, and his scenes are entertaining only because Rishabh roasts him so effortlessly.
The love confession was emotional, raw, and beautifully delivered, only for the precap to slap us with a harsh reality. Why, Rishabh, why? We’ll wait for tomorrow’s episode with bated breath and tissues ready.
