Kumkum Bhagya 22nd July 2025 Written Update: Shivansh’s Breakdown. Kumkum Bhagya – Raunak’s Delusion, Shivansh’s Breakdown, Prarthna’s Bold Confession

The episode starts with Raunak getting overdrunk at a bar. Payal comes there and looks for Raunak. She asks what he is doing there. He asks her not to interfere in his life since he is already much upset. She knows he is going mad. She tells him that he is wrong, and he knows it too. Raunak tells her that she thinks he will listen to her, but she isn’t important to him. She asks him not to hurt her feelings. She tells him that his words are hurting her, but she loves him. She knows he loves Prarthna, but Prarthna doesn’t love him.

Raunak tells her that Prarthna told him she loves him and she will come back in his life. She asks if Prarthna really told him so. He tells her that she told this in his dream. He wants to wait for her. She calls him mad to believe such a dream. He tells her that it was a morning dream and it will turn true. She tells him that Prarthna doesn’t even see him. He wants Prarthna to accept his love and come back to him. He leaves. Payal follows him. She asks him how can he think Prarthna loves him. He asks her to stop talking about Prarthna. She tells him that he is living a dream and he should not expect the missing person in his life. She adds that she, Payal, is with Raunak.

Raunak tells her that Prarthna belongs to him and she will come back. She tells him that Prarthna is Shivansh’s wife. Shivansh trusts her. Prarthna and Shivansh are made for each other; they are connected and inseparable. He tells her that Prarthna is made for him, and he will change the fate and win her back. He tells her that he will bring back Prarthna in his life and it’s a challenge. He makes a leave. Payal gets angry.

Kartik calls Sonalika and tells her that he is on the way and he will reach Shivansh soon. She asks Shivansh’s location. He tells her that Shivansh is at the cliff edge. She worries. She asks him to stop Shivansh. He tells her that he will take care of Shivansh. Bua Maa overhears this and gets worried for Shivansh. Shivansh reaches the cliff end and looks down. He is sad. Sonalika calls him. He disconnects the call. Bua Maa also calls him to stop him from taking a wrong move. Shivansh ignores her calls. Prarthna calls him. Shivansh tells her that he doesn’t want to talk to anyone. He wants to stay alone. Prarthna is right in her place. Prarthna tells him that it’s her on the call.

He doesn’t listen to her. He tells her that he came between Raunak and Prarthna. If she loves Raunak, then he shouldn’t feel angry. He tells her that he shouldn’t feel bad. She asks where is he. She hears a man asking Shivansh why is he standing at the cliff end by parking his car on the roadside. Shivansh tells him that he is coming. Kartik comes there and sees Shivansh. Shivansh drops his phone by mistake. Kartik sees Shivansh going in his car and follows him. Shivansh drinks while driving. Kartik calls him, but Shivansh doesn’t have his phone.

Raunak sees Prarthna in an auto rickshaw. He gets down from his car and runs to her. He tells her that he is sure Bua Maa has ousted her. He asks her to come with him to his house, and now she doesn’t need to worry. He promises to keep her happy. She asks him if he has lost his mind. He tells her that he has told the world Prarthna belongs to him. He adds that he told this to Shivansh. She tells him that she doesn’t love him. She scolds him in a rude way. He asks her what happened to her, when they love each other. She confesses that she loves Shivansh. She praises Shivansh who has won her heart. He reminds her that Shivansh betrayed her and married her.

She tells him that Shivansh has respected her. He always stayed in his limits and never cheated on her. He risked his life to save her. She has known love after meeting him. He is unique and she didn’t see such a nice person before. He is her everything and now she is Shivansh’s wife. She shocks Raunak by her statements. She leaves. Raunak stands weeping in the rains.

Kartik meets Shivansh and asks him where is he going. Shivansh tells him that he will meet him later. Kartik asks why did he drink. Shivansh tells him that everyone shows they care, but none care for him. Kartik asks the matter. Shivansh tells that he doesn’t want to talk. He tells him that Prarthna saved his life from the goons, but today she has cheated on him. He isn’t able to forget Prarthna’s deceive. He tells that Prarthna is a nice girl, but she has done wrong. She loves Raunak.

Ketki meets Payal. Payal recollects Raunak’s words. She tells that she doesn’t want to stay in India. Raunak doesn’t want her in his life. He loves Prarthna and he can never accept her. Ketki asks her if she can accept it, can she lose Raunak to Prarthna, is she ready to lose Raunak and call herself a loser. Payal tells that Raunak is mad after Prarthna, and if Shivansh abandons Prarthna, then Raunak will be glad. Ketki tells that Raunak won’t get Prarthna. He will marry Payal some day. She reminds Smita’s promise.

Shivansh tells that he is hurt. Raunak and Prarthna love each other and he has to accept this. Kartik asks him not to think of Prarthna and let her go with Raunak, divorce Prarthna, and get back to Sonalika. He asks Shivansh to prove Prarthna characterless and get separated. Shivansh gets angry with the thought of divorcing Prarthna. He asks Kartik to get lost. Kartik tells that Shivansh needs more time.

Prarthna is still on the way. The driver says the auto broke down. She wants to reach the cliff end as soon as possible. He asks her to hire any other auto. Shivansh is angry. Sonalika calls Kartik and asks about Shivansh. Kartik asks her to give some time to Shivansh. Sonalika tells Bua Maa that she will take help from her dad.

Raunak comes home. Smita asks him where did he go. He asks her to give him some space. She asks him to talk to her well. He tells her that she should have shame. She has done wrong in her past which has ruined his present. Kanti angrily slaps Raunak. Raunak tells that he is ashamed of Smita.

Shivansh comes back to the cliff edge to get his phone. He sees Prarthna’s incoming call. He turns to leave. Prarthna comes running to that point. She prays to meet Shivansh. Shivansh thinks of Prarthna. He senses Prarthna and turns to see her when she shouts out his name. Prarthna finds Shivansh, finally… What’s next? Stay tuned.

Today’s episode was packed with heartbreak, delusions, and bold confessions. Raunak, drunk on love and whisky, kept hallucinating Prarthna’s return, while Payal’s desperation reached peak cringe levels. Shivansh’s emotional breakdown was raw and painful, and Prarthna’s fierce confession about Shivansh was a satisfying slap to Raunak’s delusion.

The episode sets up tomorrow’s high-voltage drama well, keeping viewers hooked to see if Prarthna can save Shivansh from his own misery. The writing nailed complex emotions with excellent pacing, though Raunak’s blind obsession deserves a reality check soon.
