Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 22nd July 2025 Written Update: Abhira’s Tangled Truth. The episode begins with Abhira running around with her bag full of worries — this time, it’s about Armaan’s condition. Meanwhile, our pint-sized prayer warrior, Myra, folds her tiny hands and sends her special request to the heavens, asking the almighty to fix Armaan up. When Abhira bumps into Myra, the little one turns into a barter queen — “You pray for Armaan, I’ll pray for Pookie.” Abhira, half-broken and half-cynical, mutters that God never picks up her calls anyway, but Myra’s puppy eyes make her surrender. So, for once, Abhira folds her hands too — only to pray for Myra instead. Classic Abhira.
A nurse appears like a human push notification to break the suspense — Armaan will wake up soon. Relief washes over Abhira, who rushes to spread the news to Kaveri and Vidya. The whole squad decides to give Armaan a group welcome.
Just then, Anshuman pops up like an uninvited twist. He stops the ladies mid-celebration with his big reveal: he’s found Pookie. Abhira, exhausted from the endless lies life throws at her, suspects he’s bluffing, but Anshuman swears on his moral high ground. An emotional Abhira touches his feet (a scene so dramatic, even the sasural politics paused for it). Pookie’s voice cuts the mush — the little girl appears, and Abhira grabs her in a tight embrace, as if the universe has finally returned her lost piece.
Cue the awkward slip-up: Abhira accidentally calls Anshuman Armaan. Well, subconscious mind does what it wants, and Anshuman’s face shows he didn’t sign up for this Freudian slip. Kaveri’s shocked too — the poor matriarch probably has a constant headache these days.
Meanwhile, Armaan, who’s clearly allergic to secrets now, plans to drop a truth bomb on Abhira about Myra. But fate, or the doctor’s injection, keeps him nicely sedated.
Abhira, meanwhile, questions Anshuman about the Pookie miracle. Anshuman credits Preeti — the accidental foster mom. Preeti gives a sob story about how she raised Pookie with great difficulty and begs to visit her sometimes. Abhira, blinded by relief, nods. Anshuman hands Preeti some money — which should have rung alarm bells, but logic is usually on vacation in this universe.
Of course, Kaveri doesn’t buy any of it. She’s quick to shout “Duplicate!” about Pookie, claiming Preeti and the kid are scamming everyone. But Abhira, now deep in her motherly feels, refuses to listen. Preeti shows a dress as proof, which is apparently all it takes to confirm maternity in this house. Abhira drags Pookie to Armaan to share her newfound happiness.
Armaan, in between fever dreams about Abhira and Myra, tries to spit out the truth, but Geetanjali steps in with her standard manipulative concern. She warns Abhira to stay away if she’s the reason for Armaan’s stress — because when in doubt, blame Abhira, right? Armaan tries again, only to get silenced by a well-timed injection. And the truth snoozes, once again.
At the end, Myra meets Pookie. The kids bond in their own sweet world. Myra apologizes for wearing Pookie’s dress — a tiny detail, but enough to tickle Abhira’s motherly instincts. They hug, as if all is well.
But nothing is ever well here. The precap hints at Abhira’s gut telling her something’s off about Pookie. Myra, who’s clearly done with grown-ups messing up her prayers, decides to spill the beans about Preeti’s plan.

This episode was a full buffet of confusion, half-baked reunions, and good old dramatic slip-ups. Abhira is forever stuck between prayers and paranoia. Anshuman’s sudden hero mode seems fishy, and the Pookie plot feels like a half-price soap opera twist. Armaan’s truth might as well have its own pending file cabinet — the man just can’t open his mouth at the right time.
The best part? Myra, the only one with a spine and sense, might save the day next. Let’s see if she really outs Preeti or if the writers have another detour planned. If you ask me, Abhira should trust her gut more than Preeti’s secondhand proof. Until then, we’ll keep watching these adults get schooled by a kid with better moral clarity.
