5 Twists in Mangal Lakshmi: Kapil Declared Innocent, Monisha’s Evil Plan Exposed

Mangal Lakshmi 23rd July 2025 Written Update: Kapil Shows True Maturity

Mangal Lakshmi 23rd July 2025 Written Update: Kapil Shows True Maturity. The episode begins with Adit taking Ishana’s phone. He and Mangal watch a video and realise that Ishana had framed Kapil and lied to them. Ishana apologises, saying, “I just wanted to take revenge on Kapil for slapping my dad. Everything I did was out of anger.” Adit, furious, slaps her and questions, “Is this the kind of upbringing we gave you? You’ve crossed all limits—shame on you!”

He adds that while her mother had suspected something, he had chosen to trust her. He thanks Mangal for noticing the truth, saying, “If it weren’t for her, I would’ve never known you were behind this mess.” He explains that Kapil hit him only because he was at fault and that both he and Mangal handled the matter with maturity.

Adit questions who is teaching Ishana to lie and tells her this isn’t the way they raised her. Ishana continues to apologise, explaining that she didn’t know Yash had recorded the video. Fearing her parents’ anger, she paid Yash and planted the packet in their consignment. Mangal demands that Ishana confess everything to the police. Ishana pleads with her not to involve the police and promises never to repeat her mistake. Mangal insists she take responsibility for her actions, but Adit stops her, saying, “I know you value the truth, but we need to think before acting. This could ruin Ishana’s future.”

Meanwhile, Pratima urges Kapil to find out who placed the drugs in the consignment, warning that he might also be blamed. Just then, the doorbell rings. Kapil opens the door to find Mangal, who reveals she has found the culprit. She brings Ishana forward. Shocked, Kapil says, “It’s Ishana?” Pratima is stunned and asks how a young girl like her could do such a thing. Ishana confesses her wrongdoing and apologises to Kapil. Secretly, Pratima records her confession. Ishana leaves in tears, and Mangal apologises to Kapil for not trusting him. She asks him to forgive both her and her daughter.

After Mangal leaves, Pratima declares she will send the video to the authorities to ensure Ishana is punished. Kapil overhears this. Mangal reassures Ishana that she did the right thing by admitting her mistake and reminds her that truth always wins. Elsewhere, Shanti tells Kusum that Adit has turned Ishana into someone like himself and blames both of them for ruining her daughter’s life.

Later, when Mangal brings Ishana home, Akshat asks innocently if the police will arrest her for lying about Kapil. Ishana is terrified. Kusum suggests they should request Kapil to stop the arrest. Just then, the police arrive. The inspector informs them that Kapil revealed it was Yash and his gang who were behind the act, and all charges against Mangal are dropped. They are relieved that Kapil didn’t expose Ishana’s involvement. Kapil and Pratima also arrive, and the inspector takes Mangal’s signature before leaving.

Mangal thanks Kapil for saving Ishana and tells him she will never forget his kindness. In a flashback, it’s shown that Kapil tells Pratima not to send the video to the authorities, warning that it could damage their relationship with Mangal. He deletes the video, saying, “We need to show maturity.”

Mangal Lakshmi 23rd July 2025 Written Update Review

This episode was intense yet heartwarming. While Ishana’s immature revenge plan spiralled into a mess, Kapil’s composed decision to protect her dignity and Adit’s harsh but rightful reprimand showed powerful family dynamics. The best part was Kapil deleting the video to protect relationships – a reminder that maturity is about choosing peace over punishment when possible. Ishana’s tears felt real, and Mangal’s pain was well-portrayed. The episode ended with a moral lesson wrapped in emotional drama, making it one of the stronger episodes this week.
