Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai brings a heart-wrenching revelation today that leaves Abhira completely shattered. The episode begins with Abhira visiting the temple with her entire family. She prays for Charu’s soul to rest in peace and also requests God to reunite her with her lost daughter, Pookie.
As she prays with teary eyes, Anshuman arrives at the temple and drops a shocking truth bomb. He reveals that Myra is none other than Abhira’s own daughter, Pookie.
“Myra reminds you of Pookie because… Myra is Pookie,” he says.
Abhira’s heart stops for a moment. Her mind refuses to believe what she just heard. She asks Anshuman, trembling with pain, “What are you trying to say? That Armaan took my daughter away from me? He kept her away for so many years under the same roof and never told me the truth?”
She refuses to accept Anshuman’s words. “Stop it, Anshuman. I know Armaan. He can never hurt me like this. You must be mistaken. Myra is Geetanjali’s daughter,” she defends Armaan with tears streaming down her face.
But Anshuman knows the truth. He repeats calmly, “Myra is your Pookie.”
Meanwhile, Abhira remains in denial, unaware that Armaan was forced to hide the truth because of Dadisa’s manipulation. Dadisa had blackmailed Armaan, stopping him from telling Abhira the truth about Pookie.
Just then, Dadisa herself reveals the truth to everyone. She confesses in front of the entire family, confirming what Anshuman said. Abhira feels her world crashing. As Abhira leaves the temple with tears in her eyes, she promises to bring Pookie back home. She feels her prayers have been answered after years of pain. Looking at Myra, she softly whispers, “You are so beautiful… just like your sister Charu.”
But back at home, Dadisa finds herself surrounded by questions from everyone. She maintains her stance that this was a matter between Armaan and Abhira, and only Armaan had the right to tell the truth. However, Armaan’s silence has now put all relationships at risk.
