The episode begins with Payal asking Jhanak to go and meet Aditi. Jhanak feels her heart skip a beat and wonders what Aditi wants from her now. She nervously asks Payal what if Aditi scolds her. Neelu, ever the practical one, asks why Aditi would scold Jhanak. She sends Jhanak off, brushing away her worries. As Jhanak walks towards Aditi’s room, her mind spirals with fears. She thinks she should inform Rishi about this meeting. Deep down, she hopes Aditi hasn’t learnt the truth she’s been hiding.
Back in the living room, Neelu questions Payal about why Aditi wants to talk to Jhanak. Payal brushes it off with a smile, saying Jhanak is really sweet, and Aditi probably has a gift for her. She taunts that everyone loves Jhanak except Rishi. Neelu asks why Rishi has a problem with Jhanak and jokes that Jhanak should be sent to Delhi because it’s hard to find maids there, especially ones who can cook Bengali food. Payal laughs, saying Dadabhai will never send Jhanak anywhere as he loves her too much. She adds that even Jhanak’s studies are being taken care of by Dadabhai, leaving Neelu surprised at this special treatment.
Meanwhile, Jhanak reaches Aditi’s room. Aditi locks the door, creating a tense air. She coldly tells Jhanak to sit and demands only the truth from her. Aditi’s eyes pierce Jhanak as she asks what her relationship with Rishi is. Jhanak shivers inside but puts on a brave face, replying she is just working at his house, nothing else. Aditi gives a reality check, saying just because they don’t accept it doesn’t erase the truth. She sternly tells Jhanak that Rishi, being a married man, has no right to marry someone else. Jhanak pleads with her to stop talking like this. She wants to leave immediately, but Aditi calls her Rishi’s wife and tells her there’s no need to worry about anything anymore.
Elsewhere, the wedding preparations continue. The priest asks for the bride. Choton says she’s getting ready. Arshi wonders why Rumi hasn’t brought Aditi yet, and Rumi replies that Aditi’s friends will bring her. Dadabhai urges Aditi’s family to send someone quickly as the muhurat is passing. Abhimanyu tries to calm everyone, saying Aditi will arrive soon.
