But Anika can’t handle it. She sneers at Ved’s suit, calling it ugly and classless. She orders Ved to take it off immediately. Tara notices Anika’s worsening behavior but remains silent, knowing that Anika is holding Rachna’s MMS over their heads. Ved doesn’t respond, clearly disturbed but trying to stay calm. She sarcastically praises him and suddenly announces that he would be the perfect match for Saru. Everyone is stunned. Anika continues the cruelty, saying they can save money by using the same decoration and it will be an act of charity. Her sarcasm drips like poison.
That’s when Saru finally speaks. Calm but bold, she says, “Thank you, Anika. But if you really want to earn blessings, you should first stop doing sinful things.” The room goes quiet.
She then adds that Anika, born with a silver spoon, neither understands value nor respect. But Saru — raised by her mother and Nanu Saheb — knows that destiny isn’t just written in the lines of one’s palm. It’s carved through hard work.
Saru looks straight into Anika’s eyes and says that ten years ago, if someone had asked her the price of the suit, she might’ve said ₹500. But today, after studying, moving from a small village to the city, she’s seen the world. She’s climbed from ₹500 to ₹50,000. And one day, with the same grit, she’ll reach ₹50 lakhs.
Ved looks proud. Anika looks rattled. Kamini’s smile fades.

This episode is a rollercoaster of class divide, insecurity, and silent strength. Anika completely loses the plot — her obsession with status and her desperate need for control make her come across as insecure, mean, and downright unhinged. Saru, on the other hand, wins hearts with her composure and dignity. She doesn’t need flashy clothes or heavy makeup — her words carry the weight of her journey.
Ved’s silence is telling. He’s clearly shaken and embarrassed by Anika’s behavior. And Dadi, bless her, tries to be fair but is helpless in the moment.
The writing gives Saru a beautiful arc — from being humiliated to rising with words sharper than any insult Anika could throw. The scene is a masterclass in emotional balance, and Saru steals it completely.
