Kumkum Bhagya 31st July 2025 Written Update: Sonalika’s Evil Plan Backfires, Prarthna’s Truth, Shivansh’s Peril. Prarthna tells Sonalika that she will prove to Shivansh that she just belongs to him. Sonalika acts like she regrets her actions in front of her. She smiles seeing Prarthna leave. She recalls hiring a man to fail the car brakes. She wants Prarthna to meet with an accident. The man takes a hefty amount. Sonalika laughs that she is sending Prarthna to Shivansh just to make her go away from him forever. She adds that Prarthna will die, and it will be her last day. She goes and celebrates her victory. She waits for the news of Prarthna’s accident.

The mechanic calls Sonalika. Sonalika tries to get away from Bua Maa. Bua Maa asks her if she is planning something bad. Sonalika denies it. Bua Maa tells her that she feels a big storm is going to come. Sonalika dismisses such thoughts. She tells Bua Maa that she isn’t talking logically. Bua Maa sticks to her words. Sonalika asks her to pray that nothing bad happens to them. She tells that she has to go somewhere urgently. She doesn’t think it’s a bad thing if Prarthna dies.

Prarthna reaches Shivansh’s office and goes to his cabin. The mechanic calls Sonalika and tells her that he couldn’t do his work till now and that Prarthna has reached the Randhawa office. Sonalika scolds him. He tells her that he will fail the car brakes now. She tells him that if Prarthna proves her truth, then it will be over. He asks her to create an urgency so that Prarthna leaves the office. He tells her that he will finish the work.

Shivansh sees Prarthna and asks why she came. She tells him that she has to talk to him. He tells her that he has to attend a meeting, he has no time, and he will talk to her later. She insists that she wants to talk to him right now. Sonalika calls Vinay and asks if he failed the brakes. He says yes. He asks how she will get Prarthna out. Prarthna tells Shivansh that she has to show him something. She plays the video. Sonalika calls Prarthna. Kartik asks Shivansh not to get late for the meeting. Shivansh tells Prarthna that he will talk to her at home.

Prarthna thinks Raunak can’t manipulate Shivansh. She decides to go home and talk to Shivansh at night. Shivansh doesn’t see his car in the parking. He argues with the guard. He leaves in Prarthna’s car. Prarthna comes and asks about her car. The guard tells her that Shivansh took her car. Kartik sees her.

Shivansh recalls Prarthna’s words. Prarthna also leaves in Shivansh’s car. Sonalika calls Kartik. She asks him about Prarthna. He asks why she’s asking. He tells her that Prarthna left. She tells him that Prarthna had to talk to Shivansh. He tells her that Shivansh was in a hurry, he took Prarthna’s car, and left for a meeting. She is shocked. She asks him if he is sure. He says yes, Shivansh took Prarthna’s car, and Prarthna left in Shivansh’s car.

Sonalika gets scared. Prarthna comes home and finds Sonalika scared. Sonalika asks why she came home in Shivansh’s car. Prarthna asks what happened to her. Sonalika tells her that she hates Prarthna. Vinay calls Sonalika. Shivansh realizes the car brakes are not working. Sonalika meets Vinay and scolds him. She tells him that Shivansh has taken the car, and now his life is in danger. Vinay tells her that it’s not his mistake if Shivansh took the faulty car.

Prarthna comes and overhears them. Sonalika asks Vinay to do anything and save Shivansh. Prarthna is shocked. Vinay explains that their move can’t be reversed, and Shivansh can get injured in the accident. Prarthna rushes to save Shivansh. The car doesn’t start. Prarthna runs to hire an auto-rickshaw.

Sonalika calls Shivansh. She asks where he is, is he okay, and where is he going. He tells her that he is driving and going for a meeting. She cries and asks him to take his car to a muddy road. He asks how she knows that his car brakes have failed and that he is trying to manage safe driving somehow. She tells him that she is panicking because he just told her. He tells her that the muddy road is too far. The call disconnects. She calls him again. She gets shaken.

Bua Maa asks her what happened. Sonalika blames her for speaking negative things. She tells her that a big storm is coming for real. She gets upset and leaves. Bua Maa asks what she did. She doesn’t get an answer. Shivansh struggles to avoid accidents. He thinks of Prarthna. He calls Prarthna. He hears her voice and cries. He asks her what she wanted to talk to him about. He tells her that he doesn’t have time. She cries in tension.

Kumkum Bhagya 31st July 2025 Written Update Review:

Sonalika really needs a therapist, not a hitman. Her over-the-top villain era has officially reached cartoon-level evil—with brake-failing schemes that boomerang right back at her! And honestly, if you’re going to be evil, at least check who’s taking which car before celebrating your success.

Prarthna, meanwhile, is still on her daily mission of winning Shivansh back with both teary eyes and unshakable faith. Shivansh seems to be stuck in a weird romcom-thriller crossover, dodging emotional bombs and actual car crashes all at once.

This episode was intense, absurd, and somehow wildly entertaining. The pace didn’t slow down even for a second—and with that ending, the cliffhanger has us biting our nails and laughing at the same time. What next, Sonalika? Poisoned laddoos?

Rating: 4/5 for drama, 5/5 for unintentional comedy.
