Trying to keep peace and fearing for Sushma’s health, Aditya succumbs to pressure. In his mind, he sees Preet before him and imagines slipping the ring onto her finger. Back at the venue, Sharda brings in a cake and pushes Aditya to cut it with Nisha. Neetu smirks. Gurleen, torn by guilt, sends the engagement video to Harjot. Preet arrives, anxious about what she’ll find. Harjot, ever the opportunist, taunts her—saying Aditya will never be hers. She shows the video, and Preet is stunned.
But her faith remains intact. She insists Aditya can’t break his promise—he filled her hairline with sindoor, after all. Sharda tries to bring her back to reality, but Preet refuses to believe it’s over. She’s sure he had a reason.
In parallel, Aditya confides in Simran that he was forced into the engagement for Dadi’s sake. Simran reminds him that the truth will hurt Sushma even more now. It’s a mess he’s neck-deep in.
Preet and Harjot argue. Harjot calls her delusional, but Preet holds on to hope. She still believes in the Aditya she loves. Just then, Harry calls Neeti with a bombshell—Preet is alive, she escaped them. Neeti is left shocked… and then spots Preet in the very place she wasn’t supposed to be.

Sushma and Sharda’s pressure tactics, though done out of concern, highlight how family expectations often override personal happiness. Neeti spotting Preet raises stakes for the next episode. Will Preet’s presence shake the foundation of the entire facade?
The emotional tension is beautifully built and sustained, with strong performances all around. Viewers are left waiting, not just for a confrontation, but for redemption—and maybe a miracle too.
