Renuka later visits Shakuntala’s house, where she’s hit with a not-so-subtle taunt. One of their friends invites them for a Godh Bharai (baby shower) and throws shade at Renuka for still not having any grandchildren—despite having not one, not two, but three daughters-in-law. The words sting. For the first time in a while, Renuka sees the reflection of her household drama in society’s mirror. Sayali, who’s often sidelined, becomes the heart of the episode. Her quiet grace, her unspoken strength, and the way she is celebrated—finally—feels earned. And Sachin, who usually lets things slide, shows he can fight when it comes to the one who matters.

The show is doing well balancing family drama with romantic arcs, and the undercurrent of mystery (those letters!) is building up Tejas’s plot well too.
