Kumkum Bhagya 8th August 2025 Written Update: Sonalika’s Doubts, Prarthna’s Sacrifice

Kumkum Bhagya 8th August 2025 Written Update: Sonalika’s Doubts, Prarthna’s Sacrifice. At the hospital, Shivansh is stable and out of danger, but the doctor warns that only one visitor is allowed at a time. Tanya tells Bua Maa to go inside first but asks her not to bring up anything about Prarthna, as it is making Shivansh uncomfortable and affecting him badly. She requests that Bua Maa keep the conversation light so that his mind isn’t stressed.

Bua Maa apologizes for her earlier anger and assures Shivansh of her love. She recalls how Sonalika saved him from the accident, arriving at the spot just in time. Shivansh is surprised, thinking Prarthna saved him, but Bua Maa points out that Prarthna hasn’t been around, while Sonalika has stayed outside the hospital room since the accident, even fighting with the staff to ensure his care.

Shivansh insists on going home despite the doctor’s refusal. He claims to have hospital phobia and says his condition will worsen if he stays. Bua Maa supports his request, convincing the doctor to discharge him under the condition that a full-time doctor be appointed at home. Shivansh agrees and heads home.

At home, Sonalika tries to speak to him but hesitates, fearing he will misunderstand her. Shivansh urges her to speak without assuming his reaction. She brings up the time he proposed to her five years ago, asking if he truly meant it. He admits he did at the time. Sonalika confesses she once thought he cheated on her when he married Prarthna, which is why she reacted in anger and vowed to ruin him. Now, she realizes he had his reasons and believes he still understands her.

Meanwhile, Tanya tells her mother she’s tired of the constant tension between Sonalika and Prarthna, noting that Shivansh always seems to favor Prarthna. She feels their family has lost the happiness they once had. Her mother insists Sonalika matters more to them, but Tanya says Shivansh isn’t as happy with Sonalika anymore because she doesn’t care for him the way she used to.

This makes Sonalika realize her focus has been too much on Prarthna and not on Shivansh. She vows to bring herself closer to him and keep Prarthna away from his life.

Elsewhere, Prarthna reaches a temple in a storm, recalling how a devotee told her to pray to Lord Shiva for her husband’s life. She prays with full devotion, and to her relief, Shivansh survives the accident. She believes it’s nothing short of a miracle. She shares her happiness with her sister but warns that most of Shivansh’s in-laws are not trustworthy.
