Kumkum Bhagya 14th August 2025 Written Update: Prarthna Returns. Today in Kumkum Bhagya: Prarthna Returns, Sonalika’s Marriage Plans in Jeopardy.
Prarthna tells Seema that she has divorced Shivansh and left his house. She adds that she didn’t understand where to go because she doesn’t have anyone in her life. She tells that she has come to her Maayka. She asks Seema to let her stay there. She folds her hands and begs Seema.
The next day, Bua Maa and his family are busy with their work. Shivansh heads to the study with Jai. Sonalika feels positive and happy since Prarthna left the house. She tells that she is happy. Bua Maa asks her what her mom said. She checks the door and sees Sonalika’s mom. Shivansh recollects Prarthna. He signs at the wrong place on the important papers. Jai tells that there isn’t another copy of the papers.
Sonalika is happy to meet her mom and dad. She tells that she missed them a lot. Her dad asks her to call Shivansh. He tells that they will go to the study and meet Shivansh. Bua Maa worries that Shivansh is already stressed. She asks Tanya to take Sonalika’s parents to the study. She asks Sonalika why her parents got a pandit along. Sonalika asks why her marriage can’t happen. Bua Maa tells that the divorce procedures are pending and the marriage can’t happen so soon. Sonalika asks her not to take Prarthna’s name in front of her parents, else they will destroy Shivansh’s business.
Bua Maa tells the pandit that she will get the kundali. Shivansh greets Sonalika’s parents warmly. They are pleased with Shivansh’s caring gesture. Sonalika’s dad praises Shivansh and his values. Shivansh seems shocked when he hears about his marriage. Sonalika takes him away for a talk. Shivansh tells her that their marriage can’t happen. He asks her to go and tell the truth to her parents. She tells that she can’t upset them. He tells that her parents want their marriage to happen, but he isn’t ready. She asks what’s the big deal and why he can’t marry her when he finishes the divorce procedure. She reminds him how he cheated her by marrying Prarthna.
She asks if he still plans to live with Prarthna. She tells that he is getting divorced and must move on in his life. She asks if he isn’t sure of their relationship, then he can break it. She argues with him, with big hopes to convince him. She tells him that her heart bleeds. She expresses her feelings to him. She tells that he must perform the rituals for her sake. Shivansh apologizes to her and tells that a marriage isn’t a gamble. She tells that she is ready to take this gamble. She adds that she knows Shivansh well. He asks her to move on, as things have changed in their lives and even they aren’t the same as before. He refuses to marry her.
She tells that she knows he will change his mind and start loving her again. He tells that it can’t happen. She asks him to believe her. She tells that if he isn’t ready, then he should be ready for the consequences. Shivansh goes back to Sonalika’s parents. Sonalika’s dad is impressed with Shivansh’s business skills. Bua Maa hides about Prarthna. She tells that they will plan Shivansh and Sonalika’s marriage. She wants to keep the Sangeet rasam once again. Sonalika hugs her mom. She tells that she will show her the entire house.
Tanya comes and worriedly tells Bua Maa that Prarthna has returned. Bua Maa asks how this can happen. Tanya tells that Prarthna is back. Bua Maa rushes to stop her. She tells that she will not spare Prarthna. She gears up to rebuke Prarthna and throw her out of…
