Jhanak 15th August 2025 Written Update: Rishi’s Dilemma. Today in Jhanak, Jhanak’s Quiet Resolve, Dadabhai’s Lasting Support, and Rishi’s Dilemma.
The episode opens with Jhanak tearfully telling Nutan and Parashar that even if Rishi never accepted her as his wife, her heart has already accepted him as her husband. Parashar questions if this means she plans to live in their house crying for the rest of her life, while Nutan sadly admits that her own fate mirrors Jhanak’s.
But Jhanak, determined to rise above pity, declares that she will study hard and prove herself—showing the entire village that she can achieve anything. When Parashar presses her about who she wants to prove herself to, she says “everyone.” Yet Parashar sees through her and accuses her of wanting to prove herself to Rishi. Jhanak denies it.
Parashar insists Rishi must answer for his actions, but Jhanak pleads with him not to confront Rishi. She explains that Rishi’s family is ready to accept her, but Rishi himself is in love with Aditi and only married her due to pressure from the villagers. She doesn’t want anyone to blame him or his family. Nutan points out that Jhanak must be in love with Rishi to defend him so fiercely, but Jhanak pushes back. Parashar retorts that Rishi should love her because he married her—leaving Jhanak visibly upset and both elders speechless.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Rishi and his family are worried about Dadabhai’s condition and the doctors’ decision to operate. Putul asks to meet him, but her sister blames her for his deteriorating health. After tempers cool, the family notes how suddenly Dadabhai’s reports worsened and finally lets Putul see him.
Inside, Putul breaks down and blames herself, but Dadabhai reassures her. He gently but firmly says they must be practical and that she must take care of her mother if anything happens to him. She begs him not to speak that way.
Back in the village, Nutan notices Jhanak lost in thought and reminds her to stay focused on her dreams. Their conversation drifts to Rishi again. Jhanak insists she doesn’t love him and talks about Dadabhai’s efforts to reach out to her. Nutan is convinced Rishi will return to her because her love is true, but Jhanak challenges this, asking why Nutan’s own husband never returned. That question leaves Nutan shaken, her mind going back to her last conversation with Anirudha.
Jhanak admits she hopes Rishi marries Aditi and opens up about her special bond with Dadabhai. At the hospital, Dadabhai tells Putul to bring his cheque book—he wants to fund Jhanak’s hostel stay in Kolkata so she can pursue her studies. He also asks to see her. When Putul voices concerns about Rishi’s reaction, Dadabhai dismisses them, pointing out the hospital is not Rishi’s private property.
Back at home, Jhanak quietly tells Nutan she will never marry anyone else because she has already accepted her marriage to Rishi in her heart. Nutan can only listen in sadness.
Precap: Rishi informs Aditi about Dadabhai’s heart attack, and she rushes to meet him. At the same time, Jhanak arrives at the hospital. Rishi is stunned to see her and fears Aditi’s reaction.
