Kumkum Bhagya 16th August 2025 Written Update: Prarthna’s Hidden Sacrifice. Seema demands alimony for Prarthna. Bua Maa refuses to give any money. Seema tells that Prarthna won’t divorce Shivansh. Bua Maa tells Tanya that Shivansh must see Prarthna and Seema’s truth and know their greed. She asks Tanya to go and call Shivansh, so that he witnesses the drama and understands who’s wrong. Prarthna worries. Tanya goes to call Shivansh. Shivansh tells her that he doesn’t want to become a part of Sonalika and his wedding talks. She tells him that he never believes his family, so she wants him to come and witness the truth.
He asks what she is talking about. He tells that Prarthna is a nice girl and she cares for others. He doesn’t want to hear anything against Prarthna. She asks him to come and see the truth. He tells that Prarthna has divorced him because she feels she is bad luck for him. He calls Prarthna stupid for stepping back for his sake. He tells that Prarthna has always saved his life. He tells that his life changed after meeting Prarthna. He feels he had a connection with Prarthna. She asks him to stop loving Prarthna, else he will be left heartbroken. She tells that Prarthna has come home. He rushes to meet Prarthna.
Bua Maa tells that Shivansh must also see Prarthna’s truth. She is angry that Prarthna has come for alimony. Shivansh meets Prarthna. He tells that he knew it, she will come back to him. Shivansh and Prarthna have an eyelock. He holds her face. Bua Maa asks Prarthna to get away. She pushes Prarthna. Shivansh asks Prarthna why she left the house when he asked her to stay back. He tells that she has realized her mistake and came back to live with him. He is grateful to her for giving him a chance. He greets Seema.
Bua Maa stops him and tells him that Seema and Prarthna don’t deserve any respect. She tells that Prarthna is refusing to divorce him. He tells that he is happy to call off the divorce. Bua Maa tells that Prarthna has come back for the sake of money, she wants alimony from him, else she will not give him a divorce. Shivansh is shocked when he asks Prarthna about alimony demand and she confirms it with a yes. He tells that he wants to talk to her in private. Seema tells that she won’t let him talk to Prarthna. He tells that he respects her, and doesn’t want to say anything in anger that insults her. He adds that Seema can’t stop him from talking to Prarthna.
Seema rebukes Shivansh. She tells that he never took a stand for Prarthna, when she was forced to leave the house. She asks Shivansh if he did a husband’s duty towards Prarthna. She tells that Prarthna will give him the divorce once he gives her alimony. Shivansh asks Prarthna how she can do this. Seema asks Prarthna to speak to Shivansh once. Shivansh takes Prarthna aside for a talk. He asks her if she really wants alimony. He tells that when he knew she has come back, he got so happy and came running to see her once, but he is shocked to know she demanded alimony.
He asks if she has come back for the sake of money. He tells that he can give away his richness and also his life if she wants. He asks her to say it once, that she doesn’t want any money and it’s just Seema’s demand.
A flashback begins. Prarthna wakes up from a dream and gets scared. Seema and Gayatri attend her. Prarthna tells Seema that she loves Shivansh a lot and can’t live without him. Seema asks why she gave divorce to him. Prarthna tells that she is scared for Shivansh’s life. She also reveals about the pandit’s prediction. She tells that she overheard Bua Maa and pandit’s conversation. She adds that she can’t tell Shivansh about the prediction. She wants to protect Shivansh.
Seema consoles her. She regrets that she never loved Prarthna. She tells that she loves Prarthna a lot and she never expressed it before. Prarthna and Seema cry. Seema tells that she has raised Prarthna and she is her Yashoda Maa. She adds that it is her responsibility to take Prarthna to Shivansh and get her rights. She tells that she will take Prarthna to Randhawa house and unite her with Shivansh. She makes the alimony demand plan just to make sure Prarthna stays with Shivansh. She knows Prarthna’s Kundali is surprisingly striking and nobody can beat her stars.
She encourages Prarthna to fight for her rights and marriage. She tells that Prarthna will bring good luck and prosperity to her life partner, and also protect his life. Prarthna gets emotional. The flashback ends.
