Jagriti 18th August 2025 Written Update: Kalikant’s Big Lie. In Zee TV’s Jagriti, today’s episode brings a major twist. Jagriti strongly suspects that Kalikant is no longer in coma but has already regained consciousness. To confirm her doubt, she rushes to the hospital.
Standing near his bed, Jagriti threatens Kalikant that if he is faking, she will drag him to jail. She even starts counting loudly—one, two, three… ready to pull him up herself. Just then, the doctor and a constable arrive and stop her.
The constable takes all the blame on himself while the doctor warns Jagriti that without medical proof it cannot be confirmed that Kalikant is out of coma. He adds that dragging such a patient could even damage his nerves.
Jagriti refuses to give up. She shows evidence—an empty bottle of Kalikant’s favorite whiskey, which she found in his ward’s bathroom. She also points out that the entire ward smelled of alcohol, and someone tried to cover it up with excess air freshener.
Jagriti demands an alcohol test for Kalikant, saying that it will prove the truth once and for all.
Meanwhile, Kalikant secretly praises his loyal doctor, who has managed to protect him by manipulating the reports. The doctor ensures that the alcohol traces are not revealed in the test, saving Kalikant from exposure.
The reality is clear—Kalikant is fully conscious but continues to pretend being in coma. His motive is obvious: to escape police cases and jail time. But Jagriti is no fool. Being an IPS officer, she knows his tricks well and is determined to collect more proof.
