Kumkum Bhagya 18th August 2025 Written Update: Prarthna’s Money Game and Family Chaos. The episode starts with Gayatri asking Shivansh if they will get the money. She tells him that when Prarthna gets the alimony, Seema will take half the money and keep it for herself. She adds that it is wrong if someone wants money and luxury in life. Shivansh asks Prarthna if she has come only for the sake of money and not him. Prarthna replies yes. She tells him that she has come for taking money. He tells her that she has cleared his misunderstanding today. Bua Maa was right about her: she appears innocent, but she is greedy and money-minded; she didn’t want his love, but just money. He angrily leaves. Prarthna feels sorry and asks Gayatri why she lied to Shivansh. Gayatri tells her that she lied to him to work out their plan. She knows Prarthna loves Shivansh.

Bua Maa asks Seema what she wants. Seema asks if Sonalika’s parents have come home. She tells that she wants to talk to Sonalika and her parents. Bua Maa asks what she wants to prove. Tanya tells that Seema is blackmailing them. Seema tells them to just get the money. She threatens to reveal their truth to Sonalika’s parents.
Shivansh comes there and overhears Seema’s greedy demands. He asks her why she came home. Seema tells him that she already told him. He agrees to give her anything she wants and end the chapter. Seema tells him that she wants money. He tells her that he will give her any amount she asks for. She asks him what is his net worth. She tells that she will ask for half of his wealth. Bua Maa asks Seema if she is mad to demand half of their wealth. Seema tells that she wants to become rich like them.
Prarthna and Gayatri join their conversation. Bua Maa asks Prarthna to tell Seema to stay within her limits. She tells that Prarthna left Shivansh with her wish. She asks Prarthna not to lie. Seema asks Bua Maa not to shout at Prarthna and scare her. Bua Maa and Seema argue further. Shivansh is disgusted and fails to tolerate Prarthna and her family.
Seema tells that she has come to ask for alimony. Sonalika’s parents come there and ask what’s going on. Bua Maa starts laughing and lies to them. Sonalika introduces Prarthna and her family. Gayatri tells that Prarthna wants money from Shivansh, and also his property. Prarthna demands half of his property. Shivansh angrily goes to his room. Seema asks why he went when he was willing to give them money. She tells Bua Maa that Prarthna will stay in Randhawa house. She defends Prarthna, who has always fulfilled a wife’s duty. She adds that she will stay with Prarthna and protect her from the Randhawas. Gayatri tells that she will also stay back.
Prarthna tells that she will take her family to the guest room. Bua Maa asks Prarthna not to cross her limits. Prarthna tells that Bua Maa should get habitual to tolerate her now. She asks Bua Maa to fulfill her demands. She tells that she will celebrate Janmashtami with Randhawas and perform the puja. Bua Maa scolds her. She goes to talk to Shivansh.
Seema tells that they will fix every wrong in the Randhawa household. Bua Maa asks Shivansh how long will he think; he should throw out Prarthna and her family. They shouldn’t stay back in their house. She asks if he is happy to know Prarthna is staying back. He tells that he isn’t happy. He thought Prarthna is a gem, but she is just a piece of glass. Bua Maa counsels him. She tells that she has warned him many times about Prarthna, but he didn’t listen to her. She is angry and disappointed with Prarthna. She asks him to do something and just get rid of Prarthna. He apologizes that he can’t do this. She asks what he means.
