Aami Dakini 20th August 2025 Written Update: Lalita’s Creepy Doll, Supriya in Danger & Meera’s Endless Stress.
The episode kicks off with Lalita doing what she does best—playing Annabelle part two. She’s busy controlling Meera through a creepy doll stuffed with her photos. Poor Meera feels uneasy but, instead of panicking, she brushes it off and assures Ayaan before leaving. Of course, Ayaan gets worried because when is this man not worried? If worrying was an Olympic sport, Ayaan would’ve bagged the gold long ago.
Meanwhile, back at Lalita’s house, baby Chotu’s cries annoy her so much that she drags him inside like he’s interrupting her evil plotting schedule. Ishani then enters the house and, jackpot, spots the suspicious doll with Meera’s pictures on it. Someone give Ishani a detective badge already.
At the hotel, Ayaan updates Meera about what he found out—thanks to Prerna and Purnima’s husband—that Lalita is not their real mother. Meera then casually drops the bomb that Lalita had entered her room the previous night. Ayaan’s face says it all—equal parts anger, frustration, and “why do spirits always mess with my family?”
Back at the haunted doll HQ, Lalita notices the doll is missing. Sherlock mode activated—she instantly realizes Ishani took it. But Lalita shrugs it off, saying Meera might have gotten lucky this time, but Supriya won’t be so fortunate. Cue ominous music. Supriya, meanwhile, is busy being the perfect bahu, taking care of Chotu, blissfully unaware that Lalita has basically marked her as the next sacrifice.
Then comes the spooky highlight: Prerna and Purnima’s spirits show up in front of Meera again, swearing that they did nothing. Meera, predictably, gets pain-stricken, and Ayaan, predictably, gets worried (yes, again). She tells him she saw the sisters’ spirits once more. Enter Baba Ji with the “plot-twist knowledge dump.” He reveals that Lalita is actually Koyna Chudail—a witch who collects jewellery by killing people. And once she has enough bling, she becomes unstoppable. Basically, Lalita is like Thanos, but instead of Infinity Stones, she wants gold bangles. Both Ayaan and Meera are horrified, and Meera starts stressing over Supriya’s safety.
Back at Lalita’s haunted lair, she gloats about how filling her boxes with jewellery will make her invincible. But to do that, she has to kill Supriya. Lalita wastes no time preparing her next round of black magic. Meanwhile, Ayaan and Meera split up like a true horror movie duo—Meera heads to protect Supriya while Ayaan stays with Baba Ji to figure out how to stop this evil jewellery collector.
As Meera leaves, Ishani bumps into her and casually mentions she came from Chotu’s house. Meera freaks out, tells her to stop going there, and runs off without even noticing the doll still in Ishani’s hands. Ishani, bless her clueless heart, goes right back inside with the doll—unknowingly delivering Lalita her favourite weapon back on a silver platter.
Later, Lalita lurks around while Supriya is drying clothes. She tries to sneak up but ends up facing Meera instead. Meera boldly questions her lack of mourning for her dead daughter-in-law. Lalita, unfazed, goes full horror mode and starts choking Meera with her powers. Before letting go, she warns Meera to stay away from her family. Meanwhile, Ayaan is spotted escorting Supriya away for safety.
But Lalita isn’t done flexing. Back at her house, she mocks Meera, laughing wickedly and reminding her that she has no idea about the extent of her powers. Just as Meera thinks she has hidden Supriya’s whereabouts, Lalita drops a bomb—she points behind Meera, and lo and behold, Supriya is standing there like a confused lamb who just walked back into the wolf’s den. Lalita triumphs, and Meera has no choice but to leave, defeated.
On her way back, Meera runs into Prerna’s spirit again, but now she’s just frustrated. Ghosts keep showing up, but they never make any sense. She shares her irritation with Ayaan, who only makes things worse by admitting that Supriya is going to meet them with her husband and Chotu. Meera gives him the “are you serious?” look and asks if he honestly believes Lalita will just let them walk away. Meanwhile, back at her haunted house, Lalita is busy laughing maniacally like a villain who knows she’s winning.
Precap: Meera panics when Supriya doesn’t pick up her calls. Lalita, on the other hand, takes things to the next level by controlling Supriya’s husband while he’s driving—with Supriya and Chotu in the car. Supriya looks horrified, and the stage is set for a chilling cliffhanger.
Aami Dakini 20th August 2025 Written Update Review:
Today’s Aami Dakini was equal parts spooky, dramatic, and unintentionally funny. Lalita continues to steal the show as the over-the-top villain. From controlling dolls to choking people mid-conversation, she’s basically India’s sassiest horror movie witch. The jewellery-collecting twist was both bizarre and brilliant—who knew black magic and shopping addiction could go hand in hand?
Meera, as usual, is carrying the emotional weight of the show. Her scenes with the spirits and her desperate attempts to save Supriya keep the tension alive. Ayaan, bless him, is forever the worried husband—seriously, someone give this man a stress-relief tea brand sponsorship. Ishani, on the other hand, wins “most unintentionally reckless character” of the episode—walking around with cursed dolls like they’re stuffed toys.
The pacing was strong, with multiple parallel threads—Meera vs. Lalita, Ishani’s blunders, Baba Ji’s revelations, and Supriya’s looming danger. The highlight was definitely Lalita exposing Supriya right behind Meera—it was chilling, funny, and frustrating all at once.
The precap promises a thrilling sequence with Lalita hijacking a moving car via black magic. If executed well, this could be one of the more memorable horror-dramatic episodes.
Episode Rating: 4/5
