Mannat 22nd August 2025 Written Update: Mallika’s Conspiracy. The episode begins with Neetu frantically searching for Vikrant. The festive atmosphere around her does little to hide her restlessness. She finds Roni and anxiously tells him that it is time to break the pot, yet Vikrant is nowhere in sight. But her eyes soon fall on him, standing with Mannat. That single sight sends Neetu into a storm of anger. Her son’s closeness with Mannat feels like a thorn in her heart.
Roni, however, tries to calm her down. “Just look at his face, Neetu. Can’t you see the happiness there? Don’t you want your son’s happiness?” he asks gently. But Neetu shakes her head stubbornly, her mind unwilling to bend. She declares she will never accept Mannat as her daughter-in-law.
Roni, surprisingly, stands his ground. He tells her that they were wrong to choose Mallika earlier. That mistake caused enough damage, and now they should not repeat it. “Let him choose Mannat this time. She is good, cultured, responsible, and the kind of girl who can hold this family together. Why are you blind to this truth?” he asks. But Neetu’s pride hardens her. Even though her heart knows Roni is right, she refuses to admit it. She silently vows she will never accept Mannat.
Meanwhile, Vikrant notices Mannat looking tense. He gently asks her why she looks so upset. Mannat confesses her heart is restless. “Everything seems smooth, Vikrant, but I don’t know why I feel something is wrong. My heart is warning me… something bad is going to happen. Every time things feel perfect, something breaks it.” Her eyes fill with worry. Vikrant tries to soothe her, telling her not to overthink and to trust him. He assures her that nothing will go wrong as long as they stand together.
But even as he speaks, another storm brews. Mallika, dressed and ready, smirks in determination. Her plan is ready to unfold. She whispers to herself that this is the day Vikrant cannot be saved, no matter what. Her obsession and vengeance take center stage, her eyes gleaming with cruelty.
Elsewhere, the wicked Aishwarya prepares to carry out her sinister mission. She sneaks into the ICU, holding a syringe of poison, intent on killing Anirudh. She mutters that this time, his daughter won’t be able to save him. Just as she moves closer, Mannat calls her. The ringing interrupts her moment.
Caught off guard, Aishwarya pretends to act normal. A constable enters, and Aishwarya hurriedly excuses herself. Over the call, Mannat sweetly asks about her health, saying she will take care of her. Aishwarya lies with practiced ease, saying Gagan is with her. Mannat hears the sound of a girl crying in the background. Suspicious, she asks about it. Aishwarya quickly covers up, saying the noise is from the TV Gagan is watching loudly. She even manipulates the sound of the siren as if it were from the TV. Mannat falls for her lie and ends the call.
The moment she hangs up, Aishwarya coldly instructs Ravinder to activate “Plan B.” She sneaks back toward the ICU.
Meanwhile, at the festive celebration, Puneet gets excited to break the pot first. But Raveena warns him. “This pot is tied so high. If you fall, you will neither get shares nor money from Mezbani. Don’t risk it.” But Puneet ignores her concern.
Vikrant jokingly says if Puneet climbs first, he will file a complaint in the future. Puneet smirks and says he won’t complain and allows Vikrant to do it first. He tries the traditional way, climbing up, but fear catches him. The height terrifies him. Vikrant steps in and begins to climb with confidence. Mallika stands in the corner, smirking at every step he takes.
Neetu and Roni cheer for Vikrant, trying to hide their inner tensions. Mannat, however, grows restless. Her heart is screaming that Mallika is up to something. She notices Mallika’s sly taunts when she says to Mannat, “Better safe than sorry.” Those words confirm her suspicion that Mallika’s hidden motive is at play.
Back in the hospital, Aishwarya tries again. She approaches Anirudh with the poisoned syringe, but this time, fate twists against her. Anirudh suddenly regains consciousness. His eyes shoot open, and before she can inject him, he stops her hand. A fierce struggle breaks out between them. In the tussle, he manages to push her away and stumbles out of the ICU.
Aishwarya panics. If Anirudh reaches Mannat and tells her everything, her plan will crumble. She mutters that she must kill him before he spills the truth. The constable, alerted by the fire alarm, chases after him. Aishwarya’s desperation grows by the second.
Back at the pot-breaking event, the tension mounts. Puneet trembles from the height, his cowardice amusing everyone. Neetu and Mannat tease him. Roni laughs and adds fuel, saying he looks like a cat stuck on a wall. But amidst the laughter, Mannat’s anxiety peaks. Her eyes scan the crane on which Vikrant is climbing, and then she spots it — a nut and bolt lying loose beneath her feet. Her heart stops. That bolt could be from the crane.
She screams Vikrant’s name louder than ever, her voice trembling with fear. The festival music drowns her cries, but her desperate attempt shows just how strong her instincts are.
Episode Ends.
Mannat 22nd August 2025 Written Update Review: Mannat’s Gut Feeling vs Mallika’s Evil
This episode of Mannat was packed with tension, divided neatly between two high-stakes plots — Vikrant’s pot-breaking challenge and Anirudh’s life-or-death fight in the ICU.
The emotional core, however, was Mannat’s fear. Her dialogue about “something always going wrong when everything feels right” was painfully real. It felt like a warning not just for her but for the audience too — ITV’s golden rule that happiness is always short-lived.
Neetu deserves a little roasting here. Her blind refusal to accept Mannat is starting to feel less like motherly concern and more like stubborn ego. Roni’s practicality was refreshing. He stood like a wall for Mannat, reminding Neetu that happiness matters more than pride. If only she would listen.
Vikrant and Mannat’s light teasing scene was a breather, but Mallika’s scheming quickly overshadowed it. Her obsession with destroying Vikrant is bordering on psychotic, and the makers are clearly building her as the ultimate downfall-bringer.
On the other hand, Aishwarya’s hospital subplot was gripping. The near-injection scene, Mannat’s innocent phone call, and Anirudh’s sudden awakening all created a thriller-like atmosphere. The precap-like feel of Aishwarya chasing him down raises the stakes even more.
The pot-breaking event brought comic relief through Puneet’s cowardice. His fear of height was unintentionally hilarious, and Neetu–Mannat roasting him together was a fun moment. But the final discovery of the loose bolt brought the episode back to edge-of-the-seat tension. Mannat’s scream for Vikrant was the perfect dramatic cliffhanger.
Final Take
This episode beautifully balanced family drama, thriller suspense, and festive vibes. Mannat’s instincts, Vikrant’s courage, Mallika’s plotting, and Aishwarya’s evil all collided to create a nail-biting narrative. With Vikrant hanging between celebration and danger, and Anirudh escaping death only to face another chase, tomorrow’s episode promises fireworks.
Rating: 4.2/5 — for the perfect mix of suspense, emotion, and festival drama.
