Kumkum Bhagya Upcoming 24th August 2025 Written Update: Sonalika’s Bitter Promise. Sonalika, brimming with authority, asks Prarthna to leave. In retaliation, Prarthna fires back, calling Sonalika an outsider, a nobody who doesn’t belong in the family. She raises her voice, demanding that Sonalika leave the house.
Sonalika refuses to be silenced and asks Prarthna to shut up. But Prarthna, breaking her usual soft tone, boldly screams, “You shut up!”—stunning Bua Maa, who never expected such defiance from her.
The festive atmosphere continues as Shivansh and Prarthna dress up for Janmashtami. Yet, for Shivansh, it is a painful sight. While others see beauty in the celebration, he sees Prarthna’s greed. His heart bleeds as he admits he was blind, deceived by her innocent face. He regrets ever letting his emotions sway toward her. His voice carries the sting of betrayal as he says he never truly understood her.
Prarthna, however, is unshaken. She mocks his pain, telling him he isn’t lucky enough to be freed from her so soon. She declares she isn’t leaving him, no matter how much he wishes otherwise. The darkness in her words sends a chill, as she seals his misery.
Meanwhile, Sonalika turns to Bua Maa, playing the victim. She claims Prarthna has caused her immense pain and vows revenge. With determination, she promises to make Prarthna’s life unbearable, an endless battle of equal suffering.

The episode captures a perfect blend of festive colors and emotional clashes. While Janmashtami usually spreads cheer, here it exposes cracks within relationships. Prarthna’s shift into a bold, unapologetic avatar adds intrigue, while Shivansh’s heartbreak tugs at emotions. Sonalika’s revenge vow promises a darker turn ahead. The writers are clearly setting up high-voltage drama, and it seems the upcoming track will be anything but festive peace.
