Kumkum Bhagya 24th August 2025 Written Update: Prarthna’s Love Confession, Janmashtami Drama. Prarthna tells Shivansh that she has always celebrated Janmashtami well, and even this time, she will keep the rituals. Shivansh asks her to switch off the lights and sleep. She refuses. They argue. He asks her to just switch off the lights. She calls him stubborn and switches off the lights.
The next morning, Shivansh doesn’t see her in the room. He wonders where she went. He says she won’t leave the house without taking money from him. Sonalika asks Prarthna what she is doing in the temple. Prarthna tells her that she is decorating the temple for Janmashtami. She knows Sonalika is going to become Radha, since she has seen Sonalika’s costume. Prarthna, Gayatri, Sonalika and Bua Maa start arguing.
Gayatri asks Sonalika what’s her relationship with Shivansh. Sonalika gets angry. She asks Prarthna the same question. Prarthna tells that she is in Shivansh’s room, but Sonalika is an outsider. Sonalika feels insulted. Gayatri also scolds her. Prarthna asks Sonalika to shut up. She tells that it’s her house, and Sonalika must leave. Shivansh comes there.
Prarthna tells that Shivansh came looking for her, thinking she left the house. She adds that she won’t leave the house so soon. Shivansh compliments Sonalika for understanding his heart so well. He tries to make Prarthna jealous. Prarthna taunts Shivansh about his love for Sonalika. She reminds him about his Sangeet.
Bua Maa asks them to keep peace and celebrate Janmashtami. She tells that they will welcome Bal Gopal home. She asks Sonalika to make the puja preparations. She reminds Sonalika that she isn’t Shivansh’s wife, and Prarthna is still his legal wife, even when she has asked for divorce. She asks Sonalika to step back, Prarthna must do the preparations. She asks Prarthna to make the bhog and decorate the swing. She tells that Shivansh celebrates Janmashtami well. She asks Prarthna if she can take this responsibility or not.
Prarthna tells that it’s her favorite festival and she will do everything well. Sonalika doesn’t believe her. She tells that Prarthna is doing this to impress Shivansh. He tells that he won’t get impressed by Prarthna ever, since she has asked for divorce. Prarthna exits the conversation. Gayatri follows her.
She asks Prarthna why she didn’t answer Shivansh. Prarthna tells that she wants everyone to celebrate Janmashtami well, since it’s Kanha ji’s day. She doesn’t care about anyone’s taunts. She adds that Shivansh matters to her and she cares for him, but she wants to make Janmashtami celebrations memorable for him. She admits that she loves Shivansh.
Gayatri asks if she is not scared of losing Shivansh, since her alimony claim is making her fall in his eyes. She knows Shivansh is hurt by their demands, so he was supporting Sonalika. Prarthna tells that she wants to be with Shivansh for a month and end the threat on his life. She adds that she will leave his life if he wants to spend it with Sonalika. She tells Gayatri that she will leave once her goal is accomplished. Shivansh hears this and misunderstands her.
Later, Prarthna gets decked up for the puja. Shivansh sees her and is mesmerized. She wears the jewellery. She drops the earring. Shivansh looks on and smiles. He picks the earring and makes her wear it. They have a moment.
Sonalika is dressed up as Radha and asks Bua Maa if Shivansh will like her. Bua Maa compliments her. Sonalika asks if Shivansh will find her beautiful. Bua Maa says yes. Sonalika tells that Shivansh likes Prarthna now. Bua Maa asks her not to think so. She tells that he is with Prarthna since she has won his sympathy with her drama. Sonalika swears to make Prarthna’s life hell.
