Jagriti Upcoming 26th August 2025 Written Update: Suraj–Jagriti Begin New Life in Chitta Basti, But Aakash and Kalikant Shadow Looms.
Zee TV’s Jagriti is serving back-to-back shocking twists that have completely shaken the lives of Jagriti, Suraj, and their family. In a stunning move, Aakash succeeds in getting the entire property transferred to his name. Not only does he claim the haveli, but he also throws Jagriti, Suraj, and all the other family members out of their own house.
With no roof over their heads, the family has no choice but to shift to Chita Basti. To their surprise, the basti residents welcome them with warmth, music, and dance, making the painful transition into a new life feel a little easier. Suraj and Jagriti’s “vanvaas” (exile) officially begins, and from here starts a fresh chapter of their struggle.
But if you think being away from the haveli will give them peace, you’re mistaken. Aakash still keeps a close watch on Jagriti and Suraj, ensuring his influence never leaves them. To tighten his grip, he even plants a spy—Kalindi—in the basti to monitor their every move.
The backstory is just as dramatic. At gunpoint, Aakash forced the elders of the house to sign away the entire haveli in his name, threatening to kill if they resisted. Terrified and helpless, they complied, and the family was thrown out mercilessly. Jagriti pleads to at least let the children stay, but Aakash shows no mercy. Instead, he orders his informer to keep him updated about the couple’s life in the basti.
As Jagriti and Suraj start adjusting to their new surroundings, another shocking twist brews. The basti welcomes Shashikant warmly, but soon it will be revealed that he is not Shashikant at all. In reality, Kalikant, who was believed to be dead, has murdered Shashikant and stolen his identity. The chilling revelation—that their biggest enemy is still alive and hiding in plain sight—promises to turn the story upside down.
So while Aakash might appear as the main villain right now, the real danger is yet to come. With Kalikant secretly watching their every move, Jagriti and Suraj’s new journey is about to get even more dangerous and heartbreaking.
