He gives her a cheque and tells her that he has written the amount she asked for.
She wanted his half property, and he is giving it to her. She can leave the house, but she should deposit the cheque after one week so that he can arrange the amount. She asks what he wants to say. He tells her that he knows she has come to take money, so he has given the cheque. He doesn’t want her to stay in the house and trouble everyone. He lets her free by fulfilling her alimony demand.
She tells him that she will take the money and leave; she won’t take the post-dated cheque since there is no guarantee he will give her the money. She mocks him purposely. She refuses to leave the house. Shivansh asks if she doesn’t trust him. She tells him that she shouldn’t trust anyone when it’s about money. He asks if she thinks he can cheat her. He feels bad about her words. She tells him that he won’t cheat her. He thanks her for showing trust. He assures her that he will never cheat her.
