Itti Si Khushi 27th August 2025 Episode Update: Dramatic Twist. The episode opens with a scene straight out of a high-school drama, except everyone here is well into adulthood and should know better. Sanjay, being the ever-suspicious gentleman, questions Anvita about why she stepped out of his vehicle. Now, a normal person might just say “I dropped my hairpin” or “I needed some fresh air.” But not Anvita. She decides to serve him a lie so thin it wouldn’t even pass through a strainer—claiming her phone is missing. Of course, our naive Sanjay buys it and nobly offers to go check inside. This, dear viewers, gives Anvita the perfect chance to meet Virat.
And what a meeting it is. Virat, the eternal Devdas-in-training, confronts her about her decision to return with Sanjay. Anvita, in her classic style, mocks him like she’s auditioning for a stand-up special. Virat sulks (again), delivers a dramatic one-liner about how she’ll still think of him even if she leaves with Sanjay, and storms off like a tragic hero from a college play. And what does Anvita do? Smile. Yes, the smile of victory — but of course, she quickly hides it when Sanjay reappears empty-handed, announcing that her phone wasn’t inside. Honestly, if Anvita wanted an Oscar for “Best Fake Concerned Face,” this was her audition tape. They leave together, but you know her thoughts are still dancing with Virat’s memory.
Meanwhile, in the side plot that no one really asked for, Suhas is busy fooling Suhani’s poor mother. He tells her he’ll “help with her illness,” and the woman believes him. Ma’am, please. At this point, Suhas could say he’s curing cancer with turmeric milk, and half the mohalla would believe him.
On the brighter (and cuter) side, we get a moment with Chidiya overhearing Diya’s conversation with her boyfriend. Innocent as ever, Chidiya asks about the meaning of “I love you.” Diya, in a moment of teenage TED Talk, explains how love consumes thoughts and makes people act silly. This hits Anvita like Cupid’s side-arrow — she smiles to herself remembering Virat. At the same time, Virat is also lost in Anvita’s thoughts, because apparently this show runs on parallel pining.
Cut to Sanjay, who’s still trying to make Anvita feel special. He thanks her for joining him at his party, but let’s be real — her mind is clearly elsewhere. Even while with Sanjay, she’s sneakily chatting with Virat, struggling to balance both conversations like a bad juggler. Somehow, she manages, but the effort shows. Later, when they reach home, Sanjay decides to pull out his inner shayar. He tries expressing his feelings through poetry, only to completely butcher the delivery. Anvita bursts out laughing — and honestly, who wouldn’t? But instead of crushing him, she gives him positive feedback, which melts Sanjay instantly. He praises her for being “unique.” Poor guy, so blinded by love he doesn’t realize he’s being friend-zoned with poetry.
The next morning brings more chaos. Suhani is furious at her mother for letting Suhas stay in their house and, to make matters worse, letting him wear her father’s clothes. If that’s not the biggest red flag, I don’t know what is. But Nandu, in a surprising twist, takes Suhas’s side, saying he’s helping her overcome fear. Suhas, ever the manipulator, assures Suhani’s mom of his protection. If you ask me, protection from whom? Probably himself.
Meanwhile, Anvita faces a new headache — their water supply has been cut off by the BMC. She’s fuming, and her brothers share her frustration. To her credit, she takes initiative and asks for their help. With Diya’s assistance, they manage to bring water back to the house. Anvita, determined to pay her share, insists on contributing to Diya’s electric bill. Diya argues, but Anvita stands firm. At this point, Anvita deserves a medal for being the only responsible adult in this circus.
Of course, Virat can’t stay away for long. He calls Anvita, but she disconnects because — get this — her slippers tore. Yes, priorities. Forget a heart-to-heart, her footwear demanded immediate attention. Later, she even smiles at her broken slippers while listening to Virat’s voice note. Honestly, who knew torn chappals could be so romantic?
Elsewhere, Sidhu discovers Suhas squatting at Suhani’s place. Suhas learns that Sidhu is helping Suhani study. There’s awkwardness in the air, but for once, no one throws a knife. Small victories.
Back at Anvita’s, a bank staffer comes looking for Surekha. Anvita cleverly lies that Surekha doesn’t live there, sending him away. But then Suhas creates yet another mess. He promises Nandu he’ll get groceries, takes money, and instead picks items from his own house. When Anvita confronts him, he lashes out. Classic Suhas — freeloading and gaslighting rolled into one package. Anvita, undeterred, decides to take on extra shifts at work to manage expenses. She assures her younger siblings and leaves, showing once again that she’s the backbone of this family.
Meanwhile, Suhani and Sidhu have a heated argument about Suhas staying in her house. But after the drama, they make a truce, promising to help each other. A cute moment in an otherwise messy subplot.
The real shocker comes when Virat receives a call from Anvita’s phone. Instead of her voice, he hears Chidiya crying. Immediately, alarm bells ring. Anvita returns home, only to find the house in disarray. Her siblings are missing, and panic sets in. Cue the dramatic background score.
