Kumkum Bhagya 28th August 2025 Written Update: Prarthna Exposes Sonalika, Shivansh Confesses Love. Prarthna tells Seema that Sonalika has damaged the swing, she didn’t see Sonalika, but she knows Sonalika wants to turn Shivansh against her. Seema and Gayatri agree. Seema gets furious on knowing Sonalika’s crime of spoiling the prasad by adding the garlic. Prarthna tells that Sonalika is the culprit, she did this intentionally just to spoil the puja and anger Shivansh. Prarthna tells them that Sonalika was shocked seeing the changed prasad. She adds that she overheard Sonalika’s confession to Tanya. She tells that Sonalika did this so that Shivansh ousts her from the house. Seema asks why didn’t she answer Sonalika.
Prarthna tells that she doesn’t want to spoil the festive day by fighting with Sonalika. She doesn’t want to spare Sonalika, who is plotting against Shivansh and Kanha ji. She loses her temper on Sonalika’s sin. She tells that she won’t let Shivansh do anything wrong with Shivansh. Seema tells that Sonalika wants to marry Shivansh and live with him, so she won’t harm him. Prarthna tells that Sonalika doesn’t care for Shivansh’s sentiments. Seema asks Prarthna to stay alert. Prarthna tells that Sonalika can’t hurt her and can’t make Shivansh away from her. Seema and Gayatri motivate Prarthna.

He yells at Sonalika and rejects her love. He confesses his love for Prarthna. He calls Sonalika an outsider and throws her out of his room. Sonalika wakes up shouting and looks around. She doesn’t want to live without Shivansh. She sips some water and calms her mind. She tells that she has to marry Shivansh and become his wife. She calls her mom and asks her to come home.
The next day, Shivansh asks Prarthna if she has come for alimony. She says yes. He tells that he feels something else, he is sure she has come with some ulterior motive and he wants to hear the truth. She tells that he won’t believe her, because he won’t understand her. He asks her to explain it to him. She tells that she tried to explain before. He tells that he tried to stop her, but she didn’t listen and left the house, then she came back and asked for money. She asks him to question himself and find his fault.
She tells that he didn’t trust her and didn’t wait for her, he hurried for the marriage with Sonalika and wanted to move on. He tells that he gets what he doesn’t want. She tells that he never wanted her. He replies that he wanted Prarthna in his life, he doesn’t want to marry Sonalika and he wants Sonalika out of his house. He calls his life a huge mess. He feels sorry that he isn’t getting what he wants.
He tells her that he wants her, he loved her, but now he doesn’t love her, she is someone else and he doesn’t know this Prarthna. He is happy to marry Sonalika, who isn’t dual-faced. He doesn’t like the fact that people change. He tells that he likes Sonalika now. She gets jealous. She tells that she is happy for Shivansh and Sonalika’s marriage. She refuses to attend his marriage. She leaves. He doesn’t want to spoil his mood by arguing with her further. He goes to his room.
He sees Sonalika and asks what she is doing. Sonalika tells that she has come to his room anytime. He tells that it’s against good manners to enter someone’s room. He asks what she is up to. She selects a shirt for him. He asks her to answer him. She tells that she wants to do something special for him. She calls his behavior rude. She asks why is he threatening her. She taunts him about Prarthna. She asks him not to forget she is his old friend, she always used to choose shirts for his meeting and he used to say those shirts are lucky for him. He sees Prarthna at the door.
He responds to Sonalika nicely to make Prarthna jealous. He tells that he used to get compliments because of Sonalika’s brilliant choice. Sonalika gets glad. He tells that he still likes her choice. She smiles. She sees Prarthna entering the room. She asks Shivansh if he likes the chosen shirt. He likes it. Prarthna asks her to wear it then. They ask Prarthna not to intervene.
Prarthna tells that she isn’t feeling bad. She criticizes Sonalika’s choice. Shivansh tells that Prarthna won’t understand, since she is never interested in beautification. Sonalika mocks her. Shivansh explains his point to Prarthna. Prarthna gets upset.
