Kumkum Bhagya 29th August 2025 Written Update: Prarthna’s Tangled Emotions. Today in Kumkum Bhagya, Shivansh and Sonalika’s togetherness irks Prarthna. He asks Sonalika not to talk to Prarthna. He holds her hand and thanks her for choosing the right shirt for him. She is glad. He tells that he still likes her choice. Prarthna angrily walks away.
Shivansh tries to get away from Sonalika, but she stops him. Prarthna cries and feels really terrible. She tells that she isn’t able to forget Shivansh and Sonalika’s moment. She doesn’t want to cry, but can’t stop feeling heartbroken. She tells that Shivansh is going to marry Sonalika, so he can hold her hand. She adds that she can’t tolerate their closeness. She didn’t know this situation will affect her so badly. She is upset that Shivansh didn’t stop her from leaving the house.
She recollects Shivansh confessing love to her and trying to stop her. She wonders if he is doing a drama now to make her jealous. She fails to understand him. Sonalika asks Shivansh if he is feeling uncomfortable. He tells that he has to go to an important meeting. She doesn’t want to leave his hand, since he has betrayed her and married Prarthna. She fears losing him. She asks him to relax and not take her words seriously. She laughs. He tells that he was feeling uncomfortable.
She asks what if she says she was serious. She admits that she doesn’t want him to get away. She tells that she is his true love and he will get his happiness back when they get married. She expresses her wish of their wedding. She knows they will live happily together. She confesses her love to him. He makes an excuse and leaves. Gayatri finds Prarthna upset. She asks what happened to her.
Prarthna tells that she doesn’t understand anything, she has come back to protect Shivansh’s life, but she lied to him. She asks if she is doing right by lying to him. Gayatri asks her not to ask the same thing again. Prarthna reveals about Shivansh and Sonalika’s closeness. Gayatri can’t believe it. Prarthna narrates the entire scene. She burns with jealousy.
Gayatri asks Prarthna what’s the big deal and why is she reacting angrily. She asks her to calm down. Prarthna tells that she wants to pull Sonalika’s hair and break her teeth. She feels she is going mad in anger. Gayatri tells that Prarthna is jealous. Prarthna denies it. Gayatri tells that jealousy resides in a relationship of love. Prarthna doesn’t want anyone to see her jealousy. She tells that she loses her temper when she sees them together. She is scared that Shivansh read her eyes.
Gayatri asks what she wants. Prarthna tells that she wants to live with Shivansh for a month and save him from his Kundali dosh. She adds that he can do anything he wants, once his life is secured. She doesn’t care if she has to leave his life. Gayatri tells that Prarthna will be much hurt if Shivansh marries Sonalika. Prarthna tells her that Shivansh doesn’t love her and he has always lied to her. Gayatri defends Shivansh.
Prarthna tells that Shivansh didn’t wait for her or didn’t try to bring her back in his life, but he gave up and agreed to marry Sonalika. She regrets that Shivansh has cheated her, he is deceptive and he wants to be with Sonalika. On the other hand, Bua Maa goes to speak to Sonalika. She tells that Sonalika’s mom called her. She adds that she didn’t know Sonalika invited her mom home.
She asks Sonalika why didn’t she inform her before. She tells that she lied to Sonalika’s mom and stopped her from coming home. Sonalika asks why did she lie. Bua Maa tells that she didn’t understand how to avoid Sonalika’s mom and chose to lie. She asks Sonalika to talk to her before making any plans. Sonalika asks Bua Maa if she asked her before refusing to her mom.
Shivansh and Prarthna collide. She stumbles. He holds her hand and pulls her close. He asks how long will she stumble. She asks how long will he hold her. He tells that she does this just to get his support. She tells that she will handle herself. He feels she got habitual to take his help. She tells that she will forget her habit. He asks her to say the truth. She tells that she always speaks the truth.
He wants to know what she feels when she sees him. He jokes that she always falls when he is around and he thinks it’s a deliberate move. She asks what he thinks. She doesn’t want him to read her eyes and know her love. She turns away. He asks what happened to her. He feels she likes him very much, but she doesn’t accept the truth, she trusts him but doesn’t want to admit, he falls with a faith that he will protect her, it’s all destined and it’s their Kumkum Bhagya. He promises to always secure her.
