Kumkum Bhagya 6th September 2025 Written Update: Prarthna’s Stand. Today in Kumkum Bhagya: Shivansh’s Inner Turmoil, Prarthna’s Stand, and Sonalika’s Sinister Plan.
Shivansh tells Prarthna that she is still in his heart, even when she has broken his heart with her deceit. Why isn’t he able to control his feelings? Why does he always come to her to get a new deceive? He feels befooled and says he has had it enough. He tells her that he won’t come to her words now. She asks him to close his eyes and ask himself for answers. He tells that he won’t believe her words. He doesn’t want to listen to her. He tells her that he is leaving the room, not for her wish, but for Bua Maa’s sake. He adds that people matter to him, not any room or property. He tells that Bua Maa matters to him, and she doesn’t want them to stay together.
She asks what he wants. He steps back. He tells her that he wants to stop living with her, because she isn’t a nice person, she has become a headache. Instead of peace, she is selfish, and she has come for the sake of money. She tells him that his heart can’t say this against her. She feels he has been brainwashed by his family. He calls it strange. He tells her that it’s his own thinking and he isn’t a kid to get provoked by someone’s words.
She holds his hand and asks him to close his eyes once, and ask his heart if he trusts Sonalika or her. She insists. He makes her go away. He refuses to listen to her. He leaves. He feels he left his clothes in the room.
A man comes to show Bappa designs to Prarthna. Bua Maa asks the man to wait. She tells Shivansh that she knows he has packed his clothes, but left them in the room by mistake. She adds that Tanya has seen him leaving the room. He thanks her for forgiving him. He hugs her and apologizes. She tells him that she is sorry. He tells her that she means a lot to him and that she is the most important person in his life.
Prarthna hears her phone ringing and runs to pick the call. Shivansh worries that she might fall down. She meets the man. He asks her to come and see the designs. Bua Maa tells her that she shouldn’t do anything for the family. She asks the man to leave. Prarthna asks the man to wait for some time; she will talk to Bua Maa and come outside. The man tells her that he will finish his calls till then. He goes outside to wait.
Prarthna tells Shivansh that it’s important to bring Bappa home. Bua Maa asks if she has asked or informed her about the Ganpati idol. Sonalika comes and witnesses their arguments. Bua Maa asks Prarthna if she is the owner and if she will decide everything. Prarthna tells her that it was Bua Maa’s Mannat and she wants to fulfill it.
Bua Maa tells her that she will make all the preparations as it’s her house. Prarthna blurts that she won’t let Shivansh and Sonalika get married. Bua Maa tells her that she knows Prarthna will take the alimony first. She wants to conduct the pre-marriage functions first. She decides to keep the engagement function. She asks Prarthna to spare their lives. She tells her that Prarthna can’t stop them from performing any rituals.
Prarthna tells her that the rituals won’t mean anything because Shivansh is still married. She doesn’t think Shivansh and Sonalika can perform any function with their hearts. She is scared for his Kundali dosh. She tells her that she won’t let Shivansh perform any ritual until they get legally divorced. She wants to bring Bappa home.
Bua Maa scolds her. Shivansh stays silent, just like Sonalika. Prarthna tells them that she will fulfill the Mannat; she doesn’t want anything wrong to happen, so she will bring Bappa home.
Sonalika recalls Prarthna’s words and rages. She angrily breaks things. Tanya stops her. She tells Sonalika that she loves Shivansh but has to be patient. Sonalika tells Tanya that Prarthna doesn’t want their marriage functions to happen. She doesn’t want to tolerate Prarthna. She asks Tanya to suggest something.
Tanya tells her that Prarthna is a survivor, as she belongs to a middle-class family. She feels Sonalika can’t handle Prarthna. Bua Maa asks Shivansh if she will stay silent. He asks what she wants to hear from him. She asks him to talk about Prarthna, saying it’s not her house, and he should clearly say this to her. He tells her that Prarthna is his wife and she has a right to his house.
She tells him that she won’t tolerate Prarthna in her house and won’t let her celebrate the Ganpati festival, since she isn’t letting them keep the marriage functions. He defends Prarthna. He tells her that Prarthna didn’t say anything wrong, and they can’t deny it. If they keep the functions, then Prarthna can call the cops and put them in trouble.
She tells him that they shouldn’t get scared. He tells her that they have to postpone the functions. He asks her to calm down and understand the situation. He tells her that it’s good Prarthna has warned them beforehand, else they would have been arrested. He asks her not to take Prarthna lightly. He tells her that they have to stay alert and cautious. She remarks that Prarthna is a problem for them. He asks her to let Prarthna do the puja. She agrees. She tells him that she will not be part of the Ganpati puja.
Sonalika rebukes Tanya in anger, thinking Tanya is supporting Prarthna. Tanya tells her the truth – they failed to remove Prarthna from the house, they tried a lot, but Prarthna is still here. She expresses her hatred for Prarthna. Sonalika also hates Prarthna. She feels it’s Shivansh’s mistake to marry Prarthna. Tanya tells her there is only one option left now – she will get rid of Prarthna forever, and she will kill Prarthna. Tanya is shocked.
