Mangal Lakshmi 6th September 2025 Written Update: Sowmya’s Sinister Plan Unfolds. The episode starts with Sowmya asking Kusum if she wants juice. Kusum says no. Sowmya offers spiked juice to Mangal, but Mangal refuses. Sowmya gets upset and throws the juice with sleeping tablets into a plant. She thinks, If Mangal doesn’t eat anything, how can I make her consume the sleeping tablets?
Kusum tells Mangal, “I know you’re fasting, but today is Visarjan too, so eat this banana.” Mangal agrees. Just as she is about to eat the banana, Mangal gets a call from the doctor and goes aside to talk about Adit’s therapy. Sudesh calls Kusum, and she goes to him. Taking this chance, Sowmya injects sleeping medicine into the banana and places it on the table.
Mangal comes back and prepares laddoos again. Kusum asks her to eat the banana first. Mangal is about to eat it, but a ball hits her hand, and the banana falls. Adit comes and apologises to Mangal. Kusum scolds Adit to be careful. Sowmya thinks, Adit ruined my plan again. What should I do now?
Later, Mangal asks the kids to offer flowers to God and pray for Adit’s recovery. They agree. After the pooja, Kusum asks Sudesh to apply kumkum on her maang. Sudesh does it. Adit asks Kusum what Sudesh applied. Kusum explains that after marriage, a husband fills his wife’s maang with sindoor. Adit recalls his wedding photo with Mangal and looks for sindoor in her hand.
Adit tries to fill Mangal’s maang with sindoor, but Mangal stops him. Everyone is shocked. Mangal asks what he is doing. Adit says, “I’m your husband, so I’m filling your maang like Dad filled Mom’s.” Mangal refuses, saying he can’t do it. Adit asks why she is stopping him. He says, “I don’t like you,” and leaves. The kids follow him. Sowmya thinks, I’m glad Mangal stopped him.
A lady asks Mangal to prepare abhooshan for Visarjan. Mangal agrees and goes to get the items. Outside, Adit and the family perform aarti to Bappa. Meanwhile, Mangal falls unconscious in the storeroom due to the dhoop arranged by Sowmya. Sowmya smirks seeing Mangal unconscious. Adit thinks Mangal is missing and didn’t even come to pacify him. He assumes Mangal is bad. Sowmya stops the dhoop and sees that Mangal is completely unconscious. She locks Mangal in a sandook and thinks, I don’t want Adit to be cured until Kapil is punished, and this year Mangal’s Visarjan will happen along with Bappa.
Sowmya asks a lady to take the sandook with Bappa’s things for Visarjan. The lady agrees and sends men to bring it. Adit searches for Mangal and asks Sowmya if she has seen her, but Sowmya doesn’t respond. Adit calls Mangal bad and leaves. Kusum wonders why Mangal hasn’t come with Ganapati’s belongings. The men carry the sandook near Bappa’s idol, unaware that Mangal is inside. Sowmya thinks, Mangal will die today.
Kusum asks the ladies to halt the Visarjan process until Mangal arrives. Sowmya tells her not to postpone it, assuring that Mangal will come. Adit says he doesn’t know where Mangal went, as he wants to dance with her. Sowmya asks him not to take Mangal’s name. He wants to go search for her, but Sowmya stops him. The ladies ask Kusum to come for Visarjan in the tempo. Kusum refuses at first but agrees when they say Mangal will come for Visarjan. They all leave for Visarjan.
