Bua Maa tells that she is just reacting to the situation. Sonalika asks her to stop overreacting. Bua Maa asks if Sonalika will teach her and ask her to control her emotions. She asks Sonalika to stop it. She tells that she is talking to her daughter, Tanya. She asks Sonalika not to interrupt. She scolds Tanya for going against her. Tanya tells that she is angry with Prarthna, but not with Bappa. Sonalika and Bua Maa comment that Prarthna has brainwashed Tanya. Tanya denies it.
She asks them to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi instead of fighting. Prarthna comes and tells Bua Maa that Bappa ends all the problems, and brings joy, peace, and prosperity. She mentions that Bua Maa knows this already, and she should welcome Bappa well. She knows Bua Maa and Sonalika believe she is unlucky for Shivansh and want her out of his life. Bua Maa tells that they aren’t wrong. Sonalika tells that they love Shivansh and want his betterment. Prarthna asks them to do what is good for him. She reminds Bua Maa about her Mannat for Shivansh’s good health. She adds that Bua Maa doesn’t love Shivansh.
Bua Maa reacts angrily to her statement. She asks if she is putting Shivansh’s life at stake. Prarthna tells that they can do anything they want, she doesn’t care, she will do anything for Shivansh’s betterment, and she will protect his life. Sonalika is confused. She asks why does she talk like this, when she claims she has come for alimony. She asks Prarthna what her real motive is. Prarthna tells that they know the truth. Bua Maa asks her to say clearly.
Prarthna says that nobody can know someone’s heart, Sonalika loves Shivansh a lot, but she has become selfish. She taunts Sonalika for forgetting the difference between right and wrong. Sonalika asks her to come to the point and speak the truth. Prarthna knows Sonalika will never listen to her. She chooses not to tell the truth to Sonalika. She adds that their hearts know the truth, but don’t accept it. She requests them to come out and attend the aarti. She adds that they should forget hatred and bitterness and welcome Bappa. Bua Maa tells that she feels Prarthna is oversmart. She doesn’t think Prarthna cares for anyone in the family.
She tells that she decided not to welcome Bappa home this time, but Prarthna went against it. Prarthna asks Bua Maa not to prepare for Shivansh and Sonalika’s marriage. Bua Maa blames her for playing games. Prarthna tells that it’s her love, faith, and concern for Randhawa family. Bua Maa is fed up. She asks Prarthna to turn around and get lost. She feels Prarthna is taunting her. She clarifies that Shivansh is her son and she cares for him the most. She asks Prarthna not to try to become the head of the family. Prarthna apologizes and asks them to come for Aarti. She leaves.

She convinces Bua Maa.
Prarthna asks Shivansh to get ready quickly. He tells that even she isn’t ready. They have a cute banter. He admits that he always stares at her. She tells that she will get dressed up, and he should attend the pandit till then. He asks what will he talk to the pandit, since he never spoke to any pandit before. He isn’t feeling comfortable. She advises him to talk formally. He asks if pandit asks him anything related to the puja, then what will he answer. She tells that she has already completed the puja arrangements. She asks him to go out. Shivansh goes to the living room. Sonalika breaks the news that the pandit ji isn’t coming because of heavy rains. He asks how will they do the puja now. She tells that they have to do it themselves. He asks how. Gayatri asks him not to worry, Prarthna knows all the puja rituals and she will manage everything. He is relieved.
Bua Maa joins them for the puja. Shivansh thanks her for coming. She tells that she has much work, she has to go and make his wedding preparations. He reminds Prarthna’s words. She asks him to let Prarthna say anything. She wants to perform the wedding rituals as she decided it. Sonalika smiles. She apologizes to Bappa. She recalls that she has stopped the pandit from coming home, because she has planned to electrocute Prarthna.
She wants Prarthna to keep her forehead on Bappa’s iron seat and get an electric shock. Shivansh tells that he will go and call Prarthna. Prarthna gets decked up in a red saree. Shivansh enters the room and sees her. He helps her in tying the blouse string. She thanks him. Her saree cloth falls over his face. They have a moment. He tells that he came to call her, the pandit isn’t coming and now she has to perform the puja. She agrees. They go for the puja. Prarthna asks everyone to welcome Bappa and pray to him, Bappa will end their problems and protect them from every danger.
