Jhanak pleads with Sakhi not to do so. She says that she herself has asked Rishi to marry Aditi, and she doesn’t have any objection. Jhanak questions how she could ever come between two lovers, especially when she never truly accepted Rishi as her husband. She asks Sakhi to keep her secret until the right time comes for her to reveal the truth herself. Sakhi breaks down into tears, but Jhanak scolds her lightly, asking why she is crying when she herself is strong enough to endure. She diverts the conversation toward her studies. Sakhi then asks Jhanak to eat before studying and promises to stay silent. Once alone, Jhanak admits to herself that somewhere deep inside, she feels she loves Rishi.
Meanwhile, Rishi speaks to Aditi and assures her that Jhanak is only his responsibility. He says he will be there for Jhanak whenever she falls into trouble, but their forced marriage will soon be declared invalid after Jhanak’s exams. Dadabhai enters the conversation and tells Aditi that he has taken the responsibility for Jhanak’s studies and that she will continue in Kolkata. Aditi clarifies that she doesn’t mind Jhanak studying but does not want her staying under the same roof. Dadabhai assures her that until hostel arrangements are made, Jhanak will stay with them.
Later, Parashar notices that Jhanak still has a fever and wants to inform Rishi about her condition. But Jhanak stops him, saying she will manage. He finds her phone with several missed calls from Rishi. Kanka taunts that Jhanak is now just a guest, so why should the family worry so much? Parashar defends her, reminding everyone that she is his daughter and it is his duty to care for her. He only wanted to update Rishi about her health. But Jhanak firmly requests him not to disturb Rishi, as he cannot take leave right now. Mangal disagrees, saying Rishi must know about his wife’s health.
This sparks Jhanak’s frustration. She lashes out at everyone, insisting that they must not call Rishi. Sakhi supports her, saying Jhanak will inform him herself when needed. Parashar finally agrees and leaves after asking Sakhi to look after Jhanak. Mangal and Kanka also walk away. Jhanak confides in Sakhi that she doesn’t want any problem to fall upon Rishi because of her situation.
The episode ends with this emotional turmoil.

On the other hand, Rishi’s insistence that Jhanak is just a responsibility shows his attempt to move on, but it’s clear his bond with her runs deeper. The family scenes, especially with Dadabhai defending Jhanak’s right to study, added emotional weight. Mangal and Kanka’s bitterness contrasted sharply with Parashar’s warmth. Overall, the episode was a mix of pain, quiet sacrifices, and unspoken love—slowly building toward a bigger storm.
