Vasudha 22nd September 2025 Written Update: Dev and Vasudha’s Last Feast

Vasudha 22nd September 2025 Written Update: Dev and Vasudha’s Last Feast. The episode begins with Hanumant, Vasudha’s father, calling Dev aside. “I wanted to speak with you” he says, his tone polite but deliberate. Dev senses an unusual seriousness. Hanumant continues, “Vasudha’s birthday is the day after tomorrow. It would bring us great joy if you could join us for a feast. Every year, I prepare a special Marwari meal myself. This year, I wish for you to be our guest.”

Dev hesitates, “I will come, Hanumant ji. Should I inform the others, or will you send the invitations?”

Hanumant shakes his head. “No one else. Only you, because you are Vasudha’s close friend. I don’t wish to trouble Avinash and Divya Madam, and besides, she is already preoccupied.” He sighs, eyes darkening. “Tomorrow, you will see Vasudha for the last time. After that, she will never be yours to see, she will leave the world and you can never find her ever again.”

Dev gets glad and agrees to come. “I have no choice,” Hanumant thinks. “A father must sometimes do what is necessary, even if it breaks his heart. Your bond with Vasudha… it cannot continue. Society will never forgive it. I cannot allow our family honor to be tarnished.”

Meanwhile, Vasudha is unaware of her father’s dark plans. In the kitchen, he prepares for her birthday feast, arranging plates and tasting the sweets he has made with care. “Tomorrow is my birthday. I hope everyone enjoys the food,” she says. The camera pans to the steaming malpues, golden and crisp, each one perfectly shaped. Dev comes to their house.

Hanumant observes her joy, masking his guilt under a forced smile. He carefully serves Dev, placing each plate with deliberate precision. “Please, Dev, sit here. Today, I made this especially for you.”

Vasudha appears, radiant in her festive attire. “I’ll eat later,” she says softly, noticing the special attention Dev receives. “He is our guest today.” She smiles, unaware of the poisoned intentions hidden beneath the hospitality. Vasudha thinks her dad is so happy to see her with Dev, which means he has accepted Dev and her relationship. Dev is glad too that Hanumant is being positive towards their friendship.

Hanumant watches them, hiding his inner turmoil. Every gesture of love between Dev and Vasudha sharpens the dagger of guilt in his chest. He knows that in mere hours, the feast will mask a deadly truth.

Hanumant’s eyes glint with sorrow and resolve. “Love cannot survive in a world that refuses to accept it. You and Dev… your happiness ends here. I am the only one who can stop it, for your own good and the honor of the family.”

Meanwhile, the feast continues. Vasudha and Dev sit together, sharing small bites and playful smiles. The house is filled with laughter and the aroma of spices. Dev notices Vasudha’s attention to every detail, every dish crafted with care. “You always think of everyone, even on your special day,” he says softly.

Vasudha blushes, “It makes me happy to see everyone enjoy it.”

From the corner, Hanumant’s gaze hardens. He knows that Vasudha’s innocence and love for Dev are the very things he must destroy to preserve his idea of honor. He mutters to himself, “I have done everything I can as a father. The rest is in my hands now.” Later, he thanks Dev for coming. He feels he has done a father’s duty and gave Vasudha her share of joy by inviting Dev, and now he must do a servant’s duty and be loyal to Chandrika. Vasudha goes to the haveli to give Malpue to Avinash and Divya. Hanumant confronts Savitri about hiding Vasudha and Dev’s affair. He is disappointed with Vasudha and calls her doings a sin, which Chandrika will never support. Vasudha feels Hanumant has agreed to accept Dev as his son-in-law. She stays in her illusion, unaware that Hanumant has planned to feed her the poisonous kheer and end her life.
