The doctor’s confession shakes the plot loose — if Mathur was taken, who benefits from his silence? Fingers point to Suraj, to Kalikant, and to unseen puppet-masters who move pieces from the shadows.
Back home, ordinary life struggles to breathe. Ganga buys coconuts and donates generously at the Durga Puja fair, while nearby gossip nails Jagriti’s name to scandal. Ganga prays for Jagriti and Suraj. Kalikant thinks to use Ganga to capture Suraj. He goes to kidnap Ganga, but Sapna comes there in pain. Sapna asks Ganga to help her. Ganga and Jojo take care of Sapna. Jojo asks Kalikant why did he get Chloroform home. He gets tense. He lies to her. Jagriti lands in the jail. Suraj stays worried about her. Kalikant plans to kill Suraj. Jagriti loses heart and cries. Her mom who is present in the same jail, hides her face and identity, and encourages Jagriti to have faith in Matarani.
The episode closes on a simmering promise: Jagriti may be in chains tonight, but her family refuses to fold. Suraj steels himself, allies regroup, and unspoken secrets inch toward daylight. The question left hanging — will Kalikant finally be exposed, or will the Thakur’s reach stretch further than anyone dares imagine?
