Meanwhile, Maeri is lost in memories of her missing daughter and impatiently waits for the court to open, hoping to get clarity. Imarti and Gujhiya reach her and explain that Lata is trying to create misunderstandings between Yug and Kairi. Maeri quickly understands the situation and admits that Yug and Kairi are truly in love. Determined to confront the source of trouble, Maeri decides to talk to Lata herself.
Lata, predictably, becomes even more obsessed with Yug and is terrified that Maeri will find out Kairi is her daughter. Maeri gently tells Kairi that she will have to leave the house after celebrating Dusshera, acknowledging Yug’s love for her. Lata, ever the manipulative diva, pretends she’s ready to leave but wants to spend her “final days” with Yug. Cue the dramatic tension: Maeri is emotional, and Lata schemes, trying to control everyone with her fake illness.
Meanwhile, Yug tries to talk to Shaurya privately, wanting to confess his love for Kairi but ensuring no one overhears. Guess who’s eavesdropping? Gujhiya, of course. When she confronts him, Yug changes the topic — classic hero move. Later, Yug asks Gujhiya to join them at the Ramlila maidan. Everyone gets ready: Kairi in her saree, Gujhiya glows with excitement, and the house brightens just from their presence. Yug tells Kairi she looks beautiful, holds her hands, and she, embarrassed, asks him to let go. Shaurya tries to reason with Yug, mentioning Kairi’s upcoming divorce and Lata’s interference. Yug admits he’s changed his mind — lucky for Shaurya, he says, because he has a wife like Kairi — and he wants to confess his love directly to Kairi. Lata, not one to miss a chance for chaos, leaves immediately to execute her next plan.
Imarti is delighted knowing Yug will not leave Kairi. Gujhiya teases her, pointing out that she always knew Jiju loved her didi. Umar gives Gujhiya hope, saying her dream will be fulfilled with Jiju performing puja with Didi. Gujhiya calls today a blessing and hopes things will normalize in Didi’s life. Samay reminds everyone that Yug is taking them to Ramlila, and Gujhiya retells the Dusshera story with enthusiasm.
Meanwhile, Maeri looks for Lata but learns from Samay that Lata has gone out. Kundan calls Maeri, reminding her of the punishment she promised him. Maeri warns him off, but Kundan escalates, threatening to kill Lata. He claims Maeri won’t understand his pain. As Maeri processes the threat, she informs Yug that Lata has been kidnapped and is “suffering from cancer.” Yug immediately sets out to find her. Kundan smugly tells Lata that his plan has succeeded.
