Their sweet banter gives a short-lived sense of relief. But the calm doesn’t last. Ansh gets a call from Paritosh about Hasmuk’s health. His joy turns into dread as he rushes to check on him. Somewhere inside, he feels the storm hasn’t passed — it’s only moving closer.
Back at the temple ground, the villagers’ energy shifts. Drums beat louder, and everyone rises as Prakash walks in. He wears humility like a crown, greeting people with folded hands. An old lady bends to touch his feet, but he stops her — “A mother never bows before her son,” he says, with a smile that doesn’t reach his eyes. The villagers chant his name, their voices echoing like worship.
Sarita steps forward to welcome him, visibly nervous. Prakash acknowledges her and then turns to face Anupama and the dance ranis. “You’ve given wings to women,” he tells Anupama, his tone filled with exaggerated reverence. “You’ve made them believe they can fly.”
Anupama, ever humble, replies, “I only encouraged them — they already had wings.” The moment should feel empowering, but there’s something almost unsettling about how Prakash’s eyes linger. He studies them as though choosing something unseen.
He announces that the women will be given a special honour — something they will never forget in Purvi village. The crowd cheers, the bells ring, and yet, Anupama feels a knot in her stomach. Devika too senses the off-beat rhythm of the celebration.
Meanwhile, tragedy brews elsewhere. At home, Ansh and Prem find Hasmuk lying unconscious on the floor. Their hearts pound as they call for help. The contrast is jarring — while one part of the family is worshipped like goddesses, another part is collapsing under worry.

The show cleverly uses silence and superstition to build suspense — the villagers’ blind devotion to Prakash, Sarita’s fear, the eerie reverence around his “powers,” and the subtle tension in Anupama’s eyes. Everything hints at an undercurrent of danger waiting to erupt.
Samar’s sudden spiritual appearance adds an emotional touch, bridging the past and present. His need for “closure” seems symbolic — perhaps hinting that the closure Anupama seeks for her loved ones is also tied to something darker awaiting revelation.
Prakash, as a character, is chilling. His mix of charm and authority makes him unpredictable. He’s not the loud villain who reveals his malice openly — he’s the kind who smiles while holding the knife behind his back.
The writing deserves applause for its tonal balance — from divine devotion to silent dread, the transition feels seamless. The episode ends with more questions than answers, but the thrill lies in that uncertainty.
If Anupama’s previous battles were about family, identity, and respect, this arc feels like a deeper fight — against fear disguised as faith. And that, perhaps, is what makes it unforgettable.
