Jhanak 27th October 2025 Written Update: Rishi Torn Between Duty and Guilt. The episode opens with Rishi trying to calm Aditi, who’s burning with fever yet restless about their upcoming trip. She insists on knowing if their plans are still on, but Rishi tries to avoid the topic, gently reminding her that her health matters more. He gives her a head massage to ease her headache while Tanushri and Neelu fuss over her like overprotective nurses. Tanushri insists she drink soup, Aditi refuses like a child, and Neelu firmly tells Rishi to take leave from work to care for his wife.
But Rishi’s mind isn’t fully there — it’s wandering toward Jhanak. He quietly worries about her struggling to get admission and decides to arrange for her to stay temporarily at his friend Ashish’s flat until a hostel room opens. His sense of responsibility toward Jhanak is beginning to weigh on him more than he admits.
Elsewhere, Arshi confronts Aniruddh, furious that Rishi’s actions are dragging them into unnecessary drama. She accuses him of being indirectly responsible too. Bablu and Anjana try to reason with her, saying that if she just accepted Jhanak, half the chaos would vanish. Arshi snaps, calling it nonsense. Aniruddh loses his patience — he declares that Jhanak isn’t his daughter and he’ll never give her his name.
When Arshi questions him about visiting Simulboni to meet Nutan, he looks visibly cornered. The truth has already begun leaking out through Bablu and Anjana, who admit they only wanted to help. Arshi fumes that Rishi should be focusing on his wife, not Jhanak, and demands that Aniruddh ensure Jhanak leaves Kolkata. Aniruddh walks out, haunted by a deep, unspoken guilt tied to Nutan.
At college, Jhanak finally takes a step forward in her life. Dhamu and Sakhi are eager to help her get admitted. But when the admission officer asks for a local guardian, she hesitates — she doesn’t have one. Mishti swoops in, full of snide remarks, asking where Jhanak got the money for admission. When Jhanak refuses to answer, Mishti jumps to conclusions, loudly insinuating that Rishi funded her education. Her words sting, and Jhanak is left humiliated yet silent, unwilling to feed the gossip. Mishti warns her not to contact “Dadabhai,” adding salt to the wound.
Meanwhile, Aditi’s condition worsens back home. Rishi is told to stay by her side at all times. Surjeet heads off to the hospital, while Neelu and Tanushri handle things at home. They worry about Mishti and call her to check on the college chaos. Mishti, ever eager, reports that Jhanak is there — and spills the details of her admission trouble. Tanushri immediately instructs Mishti to stay away from Jhanak, which Mishti obviously ignores.
On the other end, Jhanak confides her local guardian issue to Sakhi and Dhamu. Sakhi tells her to call Rishi for help. Jhanak hesitates but finally dials his number. When Rishi picks up, he’s still beside Aditi’s bed and curtly tells her he can’t talk before hanging up. The call ends abruptly, leaving both unsettled — one caught between duty and compassion, the other between hope and helplessness.
The episode closes with Aditi still weak, Rishi visibly restless, and Jhanak once again left to fend for herself.
Precap: Rishi checks on Jhanak and learns that her admission is complete. But before she can breathe easy, Aniruddh and Arshi arrive at the college — straight to the principal’s office — to demand that Jhanak’s admission be cancelled.
Jhanak 27th October 2025 Written Update Review: A Web of Compassion, Guilt, and Control
Today’s episode of Jhanak delivers a perfect mix of quiet heartbreak and tension. The writing focuses more on emotions than big confrontations — a rare and welcome touch. Rishi’s moral dilemma is written beautifully; he’s not being heroic, he’s just being human — torn between his wife’s illness and his conscience nagging about Jhanak’s struggle.
Aditi’s fragile health serves as a symbolic layer here — she’s physically sick, but it’s emotional insecurity that’s truly eating her up. Her unease about Rishi’s concern for Jhanak is palpable, and one can’t blame her for sensing the undercurrent between them.
Arshi’s scenes, though dramatic, show how deep-rooted her fear of losing control is. Her anger at Aniruddh and obsession with Jhanak’s removal from Kolkata reveal more about her insecurity than about Jhanak’s existence.
The college scenes perfectly balance the home drama. Jhanak’s quiet dignity against Mishti’s spite makes you want to root for her even harder. Mishti, with her entitled arrogance, has become the perfect everyday villain — believable, petty, and cruel in small doses.
Rishi’s short, cold response to Jhanak’s call hits differently — it’s the silence that says a thousand things. He wants to help but is trapped in an emotional mess he can’t untangle.
The episode beautifully builds up to what looks like another showdown — with Aniruddh and Arshi stepping into the college to erase Jhanak’s hard-earned progress. Expect fireworks, tears, and perhaps the moment Rishi finally takes a stand.
A strong, emotional episode overall — grounded, layered, and quietly intense.
