Nandini and her parents come to the Chauhan house. Chandrika welcomes them and praises Nandini. Nandini introduces the Chauhan family members to her parents. Hanumant and the other servants get the shagun gifts. Dev tells Chandrika that he wants to tell her something. Vasudha feels sorry seeing Hanumant facing disgrace. Chandrika tells Nandini that Dev gives priority to his work. Nandini tells that she likes Dev. Hanumant is upset and cries for Vasudha’s future.
The media comes. Chandrika tells that she has called the media to make an announcement. She announces Dev and Nandini’s wedding. Vasudha cries watching this. Dev and his family get worried. Chandrika tells the media that Vasudha is Dev’s good friend, and there is nothing between them; Nandini is Dev’s would-be wife, and this truth should be remembered by all.
Dev asks Chandrika to stop. He reveals that he can’t marry Nandini, as he is already married. He reveals that Vasudha is his wife. Chandrika is shocked. Vidhi gets big hopes seeing Karanvir rushing with the wedding arrangements. Karanvir wants the best for his sister. Vidhi loves everything. She wishes Dev were with her. He tells that he knew she would say this, so he has arranged Dev’s picture for her. Vidhi loves his surprise and hugs him. He gets Karishma’s call. He learns that Chandrika has announced Dev and Nandini’s marriage. She asks him to stop Vidhi from seeing this news. Karanvir wants Dev to marry Vidhi. He tells Vidhi that he has some work and leaves. Avinash and Divya are troubled by Dev’s silence. They wish Dev had told the truth to Chandrika.
She tells that they have to support Dev. Avinash thinks Dev and Vasudha should elope. She tells that Dev can’t elope like a teenager. He tells that Chandrika’s decision won’t change. They meet Dev and advise him to elope. Dev tells that he can’t get Chandrika insulted. Avinash asks him to marry Nandini for the sake of Chandrika’s happiness. He asks Dev if he has left Vasudha. He wants to know how long will Dev stay silent. Dev tells that he can’t lose Chandrika. Avinash asks what about Hanumant.
He tells that Hanumant loves Dev like a son, so he kept the truth to himself and didn’t reveal anything to Chandrika. Divya feels sorry for Vasudha, who stood in front of the guests like a servant. Dev tells that he doesn’t want to shock Chandrika, knowing she will never accept Vasudha. Karanvir comes there in disguise and learns Dev’s plans. He leaves. He comes home and finds Vidhi trying the jewelry. She tells that she didn’t finalize the bridal dress, since it will be sent by Chandrika as per the traditions. He agrees.
He thinks if Dev elopes with Vasudha, then what will happen. He fears Vidhi’s breakdown. He wants to keep an eye on Dev and Vasudha’s movements. Prabhat meets Dev. Avinash asks Prabhat to convince Dev to take Vasudha along and leave the house. Divya also feels this is the only way left. Prabhat agrees with them. He asks Dev to just take Vasudha and leave, so that he doesn’t commit a crime of marrying Nandini. He adds that he will talk to Chandrika and try to handle things. Dev tells that Vasudha will never agree to this plan.
