Mangal Lakshmi 17th November 2025 Written Update: Mangal Confronts Sowmya’s Trap, Adit Breaks Down, and the Family Faces a Heart-Stopping Scare.
The episode begins with Neel lounging around, already adapting too comfortably to Delhi’s luxuries. He talks to a friend on the phone and casually complains that despite being a big city, Delhi is boring. His friend tries to convince him to return to Mussoorie so they can enjoy their old bicycle rides together. Neel instantly refuses — not out of sentiment, but greed. “I’m not mad to leave all this luxury and go back,” he says. He wants the comfort, the attention, and the high life — exactly what Mussoorie never gave him.
His cravings shift to food, and he wanders into the kitchen, leaving behind a mess of scattered shoes and objects — something he does mindlessly but something that Sowmya sees as an opportunity. She walks into the hall, notices the mess, and smirks inwardly. This is perfect.
She takes a calculated step, intentionally placing her foot on Neel’s shoe, slips dramatically, and collapses while screaming Adit’s name at the top of her voice.
Her fall is loud enough to startle everyone. Adit, Kusum, and Mangal rush out in panic. Adit sees an injury on her hand and immediately scoops her up, rushing her to the hospital. Sowmya winces in pain, but her thoughts betray her: “To hurt Mangal, I can endure any pain.”
At the Hospital: A Storm of Accusations
Adit, trembling with worry, demands to know who left those things lying in the hall. Neel’s guilt is visible, but before he can utter a word, Mangal steps forward.
“I kept them there,” she says quietly.
The entire room turns on her.
Adit’s voice rises, trembling with anger and fear.
“Why, Mangal? Why would you do something so careless? If something happens to my baby, I’ll never forgive you!”
Mangal tries to explain that it was unintentional — a genuine mistake — but Adit’s emotions override his senses. Kusum joins him, scolding Mangal harshly. Neel watches silently, guilt eating him alive. He knows it was his mess that caused this, yet Mangal is the one being blamed from all sides.
Adit’s anger intensifies. “If anything happens to my child, I’ll never see your face again,” he warns. The words hit Mangal deeply — this is the man she devoted her life to, now turning against her in fear and fury.
The doctor finally appears. Adit rushes to him, pleading to know about Sowmya and the baby.
The doctor says, “Sowmya is fine, but…”
Adit freezes.
“…we couldn’t save the baby.”
The world falls silent. Adit collapses on a chair, face white, heart broken. Mangal holds him gently, trying to console him — but the man who once trusted her blindly now looks at her like she’s responsible for destroying his future.
“You’re happy now? After snatching my child?” he shouts.
Mangal stands shattered.
The Truth Breaks Through
Adit runs to see Sowmya. Kusum stops Mangal from following him.
“You’ve changed, Mangal,” she says bitterly. “Sowmya cares for your children, yet you killed her baby.”
But minutes later, a nurse walks out and clarifies the truth — Sowmya’s baby is safe. The miscarriage happened to another woman.
A wave of relief washes over the family.
Inside the room, Sowmya acts like a heartbroken mother, clutching Adit’s hand, crying that she can’t live if something happens to their child. Adit, overwhelmed and guilty, promises to protect her and the baby at any cost.
From outside the glass window, Mangal watches the scene — Adit hugging Sowmya, comforting her — and she stands alone, heart aching.
Kusum rushes in, thanking God for saving Sowmya and the baby. Sowmya puts on a sweet face, pretending to be grateful to divine blessings. Then she asks, “Who threw the things in the hall?”
Adit answers bluntly, “Mangal.”
Sowmya is stunned — not because she feels betrayed, but because she can’t understand why Mangal would take the blame for Neel.
“This complicates things…” she thinks, realising her manipulation just took an unexpected turn.
Adit tells her she must stay in the room from now on, and they will take care of everything. Sowmya inwardly fumes — she wanted Adit to scold Neel, not Mangal. Why did Mangal interfere?
Neel’s Guilt & Mangal’s Silent Pain
Neel approaches Mangal privately and says softly, “I never thought my things lying around would lead to such a big issue.”
Mangal’s response is calm but filled with emotion.
“If something had happened to Sowmya or her child, I would’ve never forgiven myself. And you… you would’ve carried the blame forever.”
She walks away, and Sowmya overhears everything.
“Mangal is trying to impress Neel,” she mutters. “But I won’t let her succeed.”
Adit leaves Sowmya’s room. As soon as he steps out, Mangal enters.
She shuts the door. Her eyes burn with fierce determination.
“Why did you fall intentionally, Sowmya?” she asks. “You saw those things in the hall. You knew. Yet you stepped on them. What are you planning?”
Sowmya widens her eyes in fake innocence. “Are you blaming me? I thought you came to apologize!”
Mangal doesn’t blink.
“You changed your clothes. Your look. But your intentions remain the same. You are still the same woman who wants to break this family. You’re provoking Ishana. You’re trying to separate Neel from us.”
Sowmya snaps back, “I have changed!”
Mangal’s voice grows colder.
“A woman who can use her unborn baby as a weapon… can never be trusted with my children.”
Sowmya’s mask finally cracks. Her eyes fill with hatred.
Inwardly she vows: “This time, I will snatch your children away from you, Mangal. You won’t even see it coming.”
Episode ends.
