She asks Anu what she and her “middle-class parade” are doing at a party meant for “elite” people. She mocks them for showing up uninvited and assumes they’ve arrived to enjoy the buffet for free. Her taunts sting, but Gopal stands tall. He politely yet firmly tells Mansi that they haven’t come to eat — they are the ones who prepared the entire feast. The catering order is theirs, and the food everyone is praising outside has been made by their hands.
