He explains that a couple is supposed to come for the deal, but he urgently needs to go meet his parents. He requests Raghav to stay back, show the bungalow pictures, and handle the initial discussion. Raghav sees the desperation behind Sanjeev’s calm façade and promises to help, assuring him that better days are coming. Sanjeev leaves with relief, trusting that Raghav will manage things smoothly.
A few minutes later, Raghav is checking the bungalow pictures on his phone when he hears familiar footsteps. Rohit and Reet walk in, expecting to meet Sanjeev. Raghav opens the pictures and starts showing the bungalow layout. Rohit pretends to be casual and overly enthusiastic. He admires the bedroom and immediately begins imagining his future with Reet. He tells her they won’t have just one child but many. Reet sinks in awkwardness, her discomfort rising under Raghav’s quiet gaze. Reet tries to brush off the conversation and tells Rohit they can discuss such things later. Rohit ignores her subtle warning and turns to Raghav again, declaring that they like the bungalow and will go ahead with the purchase. He even adds that Reet likes it too, as if her approval is a formality that he can speak for. The tone becomes even more patronizing when Rohit proudly assures Raghav that he will make sure Raghav receives his commission.
As if marking his territory, Rohit casually holds Reet’s hand in front of Raghav. The gesture is deliberate, loud, and meant to sting. Raghav’s jaw clenches for a moment, but he hides it behind a polite expression. His gaze lifts to Reet for a brief second, and she sees the hurt he is trying so hard to mask. Her heartbeat shifts, unsure why the moment feels heavier than it should.
Rohit continues speaking, but Reet can no longer sit through the humiliation—the unnecessary future talk, the possessive gestures, and the awkwardness of facing her past while her present keeps poking the wound. She abruptly gets up and walks out of the café, needing air. Raghav watches her leave, his emotions tightening again, while Rohit remains oblivious to the storm he just triggered.
